Sorry it doesn't.
But I'm happy your still alive though.
I would say you're way too young. But I just checked your profile. Oh well.
I honestly do not understand this fear you seem to have of meeting people from online. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember you saying you'd never meet anyone you met on KMC?
I just don't understand why there's this whole fear now about meeting people met on the internet. That's ridiculous. If you're smart about it and such it's no different than meeting someone in a club or a bar or the mall.
It's 13 year old girls that get into those situations you see on the news. Any smart, mature, person would take care to insure safety first when meeting someone in real life that you met online. Just like you do when you meet someone at a bar for example.
KMC isn't actually rife with sexual predators (least not people I speak with). Some of us have known each other for upwards of 4 years, why would anyone carry on this charade for so long when they can lurk myspace or faceparty etc. is insane.
And yes, I'm 19 now, and I wasn't actually referring to myself when I was talking about the prejudice thing.
If I ever did choose to involve myself in an internet relationship, I wouldn't give a damn what people thought, because you can't help who you fall in love with, and yes like any relationship they often fail, but there are also cases of success.

Yeah, my school friends will be surprised.
Having read back on some of his posts.
It may seem odd for a twenty year old to meet a fifteen year old from an online bulletin board. Some might even class it as grooming. I think you're safe with Bardock he doesn't seem a bad chap and i'm sure you spoke to him on the phone and even let your parents speak to him.
I think you were safe.

Let's not turn a harmless meeting thread between to friends who met online into all this. Even if one is a minor
Although we must ever be vigilant and Europeans can be different.

Yeah. He talked to my parents. He gave my mother chocolates. Hahaha...( )
And we talked on the phone a lot before we met.
And I had to call my parents every hour when we were out.
So, yeah, I was pretty careful about it.

I didn't assume.
I asked you a question actually which you didn't answer, you could easily have corrected me.
And more to the point you're the one who commented on her still being alive, thus proving my point about the whole prejudice thing.
Perhaps fear was the wrong word to use, maybe taboo would have been better.
And since I'm not speaking, I haven't wasted any breath
