Sasori is a clsoe-range fighter. 😐 That is his thing. Deidera is a long-range fighter. That's like docking Cyclops for getting his ass kicked by Wolverine in a boxing match.

Sasuke was not faster than Deidara. You are forgetting how fast his bird is.

He is suited for both long and short, but his long is worse than Deidara's. He would just blow up any puppet that comes at him from long range. He would have had a puppet already prepared, because he does get a clay bird ready in advance, blow up Sasori.

Deidara on a bird;faster than Gaara's sand.

He doesn't really need a mine field. He would have thrown the spiders on the puppets and blown them all up, and then Sasori.

you fail to realize that all sasori has to do is scratch you once to kill you. and only reason sakura 1 is because she had antidote to that poison

You fail to realize that he won't be able to scratch him because of the bird, and he would blow up a clone and kill Sasori if he got close enough.
