You're joking, right? (I know you're not. I'm making a smug comment because I'm cool like you.)

I don't look at profiles. I have facebook for that.

But, I'll take a look at yours. You wanna see mine? It is HIGHLY customized n'stuff.

I saw The Princess Bride. It was good. Maybe a 8 or 9.

I haven't seen The Big Lebowski.

For it's time, High Fidelity was AWESOME. If I saw it during it's time, I would probably rate it an 8 or 9. I rate it a 7, these days.

you never saw Trainspotting sad sad big grin

Were you making a joke about the High Fidelity thing? I can't tell, I think you might, it wouldn't be too funny, but on the other hand it is not an uncommon idea that fils get worse with time (or better).

Oh I don't mean for you to break such an honorable belief, I was just saying that there was a list of movies that would fall in the category you asked of me, if you were still interested.

I was serious.

I saw it just a few years ago. I've seen it once.

So could you explain to me why you think it was a 9 in 2000, but is a mere 7 now? What made it so good at its time that is missing now?

I mean, 2 points dude. High Fidelity just as good as Van Helsing. I'd like to know.

Actually, considering that there are many, many myths about vampires, them being able to go out during the day is actually possible. Not all myths have vampires only able to go out at night.

Sparkling is just really stupid, though. The only reason someone should sparkle is if a tub of glitter's been dumped on them.

No. Bardock tried to convince me to watch it, one day. I have it in my Netflix queue from that IM convo. It is approaching a year ago when Bardock suggested that film. Seriously, that's how many films I have in my queue.

But she didn't 'pwn' Digi stick out tongue Pointing out a community made up of a tiny number of fans when he pointed out that usually the fans are a different audience is not 'pwning' someone.

...okay you pwned me there. I totally didn't see that.

Could you now explain to me why you would have rated it as "8 or 9" in 2000 ("it's time")) but rate it as 7 now in 2009?

He has a loose definition of pwn, it is funny though that there is a rather vocal hardcore-fan community that doesn't fit Digi's "13 year old" category (though, nowadays who knows)

There are some absolutely batshit insane Twilight fans. Including older ones.

But the vast majority are younger teenaged girls, and for the most part, the older fans are not as likely to buy into the trash spouted in the book.

Yeah. Most of the "fans" I know are over 20. I don't know of any 13 year old girls that are rabid fans.

But, I don't know very many 13-year-old girls. no expression
