Well, in Kharma's defense, even Mr. Icke says that he doesn't talk about the lizard people because it makes people think he's crazy. He's never said he doesn't subscribe to it, only that he doesn't talk about it in public anymore because he gets mocked for it.

Well, when I listen to Mr. Icke, I can see why he's reached the conclusions he has. But any time you take a world view and reverse engineer it's history, you can find room for conspiracy.

In the series of documentaries "The Secret Rulers of the World" Icke comes off as a very personable and honest fellow, so, sort of echoing Devil King, it is easy to see where he is coming from and why people would be interested in what he has to say.
Gender: Male Location: between apathy and indifference
The irony here, is well...staggering.
Perfectly true? Be careful when dealing with absolutes.
I have read many things that you have posted by Icke and I have read articles that he has written to which you have provided links. Sorry, I'm just not terribly impressed. There are other authors to read, one's with a bit more credibility than a former soccer player who believes in shapeshifting inter-dimensional reptile aliens. I know that you think I hammer that point...but isn't it enough?

Then the least of Deano's worry's would be to hear my apologies. But I will state now that if we find out that Reptiles do indeed run the world, I will openly apologize for my blindness to the apparent obvious.
But I wouldn't hold my breath for that one.

I don't think that people with that level of greed could work together at such an organized level. It goes against their basic human nature.
I have no doubt that greed, power and money run the world. I just believe that it is a well organized plot by a select few. We're all pretty much screwing eachother.

Personally, I think that that meeting between Henry Paulson and the heads of the top five or so banks was as much an Illuminati meeting as it can get. I was slightly distrubed about that meeting.
And, no, it's not everyone for his or her self. Major coporations have been making non-compete deals for quite some time. There's loads of other types of agreements that I can't think of that are made between the powerful people of the world.
my problem with conspiracy theorists is that it normally adds an unnecessary level of complexity to situations.
Do world leaders plan policy at Bohemian grove? sure! Is it secret and anti-democratic? obviously! Is it satanic child sacrificing done by the truly evil? I think you see where I'm going.
Like, Bilderberg for example. Obviously very highly influential meetings where world policy is set. Just because it is secret, however, does not mean it is evil or that these people have any more control of the economy or the planet than it appears they do. The "secret rulers of the world" episode about Bilderberg interviews some of the people involved in the meetings, and they say that the secrecy isn't to keep "we the people" out, but to stop media whore politicians from making the meetings huge press conferences. Anyone familiar with how UN meetings turn out can see this as abundantly true.
lol, but that is 90% of people talking about 90% of things
"Though an unfair apple to orange comparison, the $700 billion bailout could have delivered fiber to the home to every single American, with enough money left over to outfit half of all homes for solar electricity. While we're making unreasonable comparisons, the $2 trillion in total emergency loans Bloomerg is suing for transparency over probably could have deliverd FTTCT (fiber to the cerebral cortex) to everyone else in North America as well."
Do you guys realize how much money could be made on the increased productivity of communications if we had fiber to every home in america? (fiber optic cabling for data communication is what I'm referring to.)
That, and the energy saved by outfitting half the homes in america with solar panels.
lol
This is why people are pissed off about the bailout. So much more could have been done to stabalize the economy than just stablize the major financial instituations.

Not in the case of my comments. I have based my opinion on his work from listening to him and reading his words. I don't have any of his books, but I read interviews with him and listen to podcasts where he's been interviewed. These words are coming from his lips.
What specific events has he predicted that have come to pass?
