NOW because of that freaking wild card,the red sox have ANOTHER chance of winning the world series again even though they finished in second place AGAIN. 😠 I was glad they won last year because they did not earn it that year since they finished in second and in the old days they would have missed the playoffs.I will hate that idiotic wild card even more so if the red sox go on to win the world series again which because of the wild card,they have that chance to do so AGAIN. 😠 this would be 2 out of 3 times they backed into the world series. 😠 anybody who isnt outraged over the wild card is not a true basball fan. If the Wildcard teams don't deserve to be there, then they wouldn't have a shot. The fact that they can win shows that they do deserve the shot.

The 3 Division and Wild Card format has made the baseball playoffs, and the regular season really, so much more exiting than it used to be. Now, another team has a shot at being in the Series. Considering the Dodgers finished with a worse record than BOTH Wild Card teams but won their division it lends credence to the Wild Card because a team that was good enough actually did make it. Not to mention the profits and excitement that it adds to baseball, and the Wild Card team's city.

Dodgers had a slight edge in being able to rest. Those WC teams (with better records) all had to burn out with everything they had to make it. Although the super rested Cubs still blew it too so who knows.

One inning. The Dodgers lost one inning to the Phils last night. That team scores once a game, but they score big. Now we need game 2 to tie it.... luckily it's against Myers, so I like our chances.

I have no rooting interest in the playoffs. I think the Rays are the best story and the RedSox vs Dodgers would be the best World Series (now that the Cubs are out)
