Darth Maul vs Shimmra (With a Little Info)

In an all out brawl between Darth Maul and Shimmra, who would win? Here's a tidbit of information on Maul's fighting style:

1) teras kasi Martial Arts - I did a little research with one of my friends and we found something on youtube that is nearly the same as teras kasi: Chinese Wushu. Wushu is one of the most difficult martial arts to master (see Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Hu Win Ja and Ray Park). Maul is a master of teras kasi therefore it is probably the equal of Wushu.
2) Juyo Lightsaber Form - As Yoda stated, Juyo is the most difficult to master. Mace Windu's Vaapad is a rough equalivant to Juyo. Juyo is an aggressive hold nothing back, I'm going to kick you ass Form. Most Jedi, save Weapon Masters do not use Juyo. Maul is the definition of Juyo.

3) Controlled Rage and Fury - Just watch Maul fight as a Sith.

As Shimrra begins to battle Maul, he will instantly recognize that Maul simply doesn't want to stop him, he wants to kill him. Maul doesn't fight like a normal Jedi - he's strong, quick and agile. His double blade would confuse him. Shimrra would be surprised at a Force - enhanced kick. This definitely would be a bloodly fight. Who wins?

For the love of god! You could have added this to the "Maul vs. YZV thread pt. 2" that is still open. You could have added it to the original Maul thread that you started. This is so unnecessary that words cannot express the anger that I feel. Would that Gideon was a mod so he could close the shit out of this thread.

Edit: In your last thread it ended with people talking about Shimirra. Why on EARTH does this count as a different topic?

laughing out loud Relax, mate. It's not that bad.

Not that I read the other thread, though.

I can't for the life of me get why anyone actually cares. It's a forum. "Oh no, an unnecessary thread had been made. Now, I'll have to spend an additional millisecond to scroll down to the thread directly below it, which is where I want to post."

It is really my latent OCD that makes me want everything to be organized and tidy: I wasn't angry about the extra thread, I was angry that there were three of the same thread.

Nothing I say here is particularly emotional anyway. It is kinda hard to get worked up over words. When I get "mad" it's usually an act or the fulfillment of an expected role. KMC is an opportunity for laughs, not somewhere to get angry/frustrated over insignificant stuff. Feel free to quote this back at me when I get mad at someone again.

I really wanted to explain the fighting style of Juyo and teras kasi - I think it needed to be more clear

The thing is, that info would have fit perfectly into the thread you made previously. It would have been seen as an attempt by the OP to extend the scenario and quell some of the confusion. Instead, you look(ed) like a controlling egomaniac who had to keep every aspect of the discussion under your own personal control. This forum doesn't work that way. Each thread is an almost organic organism that warps and mutates into new subjects/discussions constantly. While staying 'On-topic' is important, the natural course of discussion might wander a bit. This is natural. There is nothing wrong with that. That's just what people (and therefore the Intraweb) does.

Edit: [/my participation in this thread]

first off if you're are going to make a vs forum but only give information on one character it looks as though that you are biased.

second vapaad is NOT a rough equivalent to Juyo, it is actually more aggressive and HARDER to master than Juyo. only one person ever truley master vapaad and that was Mace. The other practitioner was mastered by it.

LOL seriously everyone. gosh so freaking uptight about everything.
just calm down. Anger is the sith way. (lol i almost typed shit way)

And notice that Ray Park is the only non-asian.. xD
and also Bruce Lee (my hero) learned wu shu then created his own style called Jeet Kune Do in Cantonese. He also changed his name to Lee Little Dragon. He wasn't born with that name.. and my name resembles his name. xD I won't tell anyone tho obviously.

now that I've had my fair share ranting about Bruce Lee...

I think Darth Maul would win because force grip and its over..

crap nvm force doesn't work on YVs..

um in that case, his saber fighting and martial arts should be hard to handle but Shimera almost had NJO beat if Jacen didn't save him.. so I would say Shimera would win since NJO Luke is arguably more powerful than Darth Maul.

Now that I've reread ur post.. I may have changed my mind. lol
Controlled Rage and Fury is a good description of Maul. kinda like an oxymoron at times but not with Maul. He is the definition of juyo and u are correct..

but still, If Shimera even touches Maul with his ampistaff, hes a goner.
and wasn't Luke trying to kill the supreme overlord also? what difference does it make weather who is killing him?

The only impressive feats I've seen from Maul are:
- tanked lightning
- use double-bladed and juyo effectively
- kill qui-gonn and defeat obi-wan, although he get bisected at the end

^he was also injured prior to the star of the duel for the last feat you mentioned. Qui-gon notes that Maul was in control of the duel and Obiwan admits that even when he was using the dark side he was losing that advantage.

-Defeated Anoon Bondara

-He is called "one of the deadliest Sith apprentices in history,"in the Complete Visual Dictionary

-He was trained by Sidious in both the sith and jedi arts.(dark Side source book)

-Maul survived on a planet by himself for a month all the while being attacked by "hordes of deadly assassin droids" then on the same planet (after he was exhausted, hungry, and wounded) he dueled Darth Sidious and gave him a tough battle when he became fully enraged.

-In shadow hunter he is described to move as "blur"
-As I already stated, Maul was highly trained in Teräs Käs form of martial arts.

"As I already stated, Maul was highly trained in Teräs Käsi form of martial arts."

well then.. He should be invincible xD
since only Teräs Käsi experts can hope to tie a jed, but He knows its form and all its weaknesses etc.

Shouldn't have typed "I" in that sentence, so my bad Truculent.

Arguably?

I think that 'save' has become a synonym for 'tried to save and got owned without Shimrra even looking in his direction.'

Don't have a conniption, Nemesis, there is no rule against creating many threads as long as they're on topic.

However, creating duplicates isn't alright. Closed the others. They did not come to my attention, obviously. Please restrict the topic to one thread, Darth Truculent.
