She's a proficient user of Juyo, which canonically requires one to be a high-level master of multiple lightsaber forms, and she fought evenly with Brianna, who blitzed/stomped five other Handmaidens.
The case for why the Handmaidens shouldn't be considered fodder is as follows:
- They were all trained martial artists and possessed Battle Precognition
- Brianna herself was initially considered the worst of the Handmaidens (prior to undergoing training with the Exile) despite being "a considerable combat presence" and an "exceptional combatant". Brianna also displayed the ability to strike weak/pressure points in the body - and keep in mind that once again, she was the "Last" of the Handmaidens until she underwent training with the Exile.
That being said, Atris's Force powers is her main domain.
