Luke and Kyp's black hole feats
One of my friends is claiming that Kyp is more powerful than mid-Vong War Luke, based on him apparently performing a black hole manipulation without passing out, as opposed to Luke actually passing out. Were there any special circumstances that allowed Kyp to do this without being exhausted? Or circumstances that caused Luke to pass out? Maybe being wounded or tired from something else? If so, can you give me any examples or quotes to support this? Even other Vong War feats for Luke that are more impressive than the black hole feat would be appreciated.
Luke had just gotten off from fighting armies of Yuuzhan Vong. He wasn't yet accustomed to facing them, so just fighting five or so left him panting, so I imagine an army would waste his reserves a lot of more.
It's also implied Kyp manipulated a less powerful Dovin Basal, and Luke's canonically more powerful regardless.
"Although he[Luke] is the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy after the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, the battles with the Yuuzhan Vong humble him."
-- Jedi Academy Training Manual
Leia's Jedi skills will be put to the test in the coming conflict, while Luke will have to prove in a brilliant display of Force strength and swordplay, that he is the most powerful Jedi Master in the galaxy.
-- Dark Nest III: The Swarm War Publisher's Summary
Luke is canonically > Kyp and has been since for over a decade now.
Umm, are you, by chance, mentally retarded? Dark Tide: Onslaught, the time period where Luke moved the black hole, is the time period for SkuSue we're taoking about here - of course Luke power progressed as the war went by and he eventually surpassed Kyp unquestionably, and emphatically by a great degree, but was he by the second/third book of the Vong War?
As far as we can say, no quote canotically puts Luke > Kyp in terms of raw power at that point and time.
So yeah, your quotes prove the square root of jack shit.

First you have to establish that Kyp does have more raw power; otherwise it's clear from this quote that Luke's simply more powerful, either with respect to mastered power or raw power. Then we can start worrying about whatever this "raw power argument" is.
You'd understand my scepticism about Kyp's superior raw power given that Luke's is greater than Palpatine's — someone who could literally rend the fabric of the space-time continuum at will.
By comparison, Kyp is only lauded as the most powerful of the students at Luke's academy, the most powerful presence since Obi-Wan/Yoda (and Luke outstrips both of them in power), and is attributed various ambiguities such as being "frighteningly powerful". None of this proves superiority to Luke; the only thing I can think of that supports your case is that Luke muses that Kyp has it in him to potentially become the greatest Jedi one day. But again, that's just an appraisal from Luke way back in the day; it helps that by NJO Kyp himself believes that Leia's equally powerful, and Luke's stated to be more powerful than Leia as well.

'Micro' was added with a purpose. To tell it is not your 'black hole' you think of(its sucking power)

This feat is a lot of times brought in versus'es to say how mighty Luke is.
