Whatever happened to Sith causing Supernovas
What Naga Sadow did with the Denarii Nova is the most destructive Force ability ever done. Why didn't Vitiates empire have it? Why didn't Palpatine use it over the Death Star? A single man causing Supernovas is far more terrifying than a Death Star. Also, why didn't Sadow just cause Coruscants Sun to explode? Heck why not crush Coruscant itself? So many questions....

As far as we know the ability was exclusive to Naga Sadow(and later Aleema Keto), and it relied on the crystals on his ship.
But even if other Sith were capable of it, they were presumably high up in the Empire/Sorcerer caste, the elite ruling families. Vitiate was the ruler of a backwater world, politically insignificant and a recluse. They wouldn't have shared their secrets with him.

By all accounts it was more the meditation ship and crystals of Sadow that are to be accounted for the tremendously vast majority of the feat. Presumably the other Ancients being accused of not doing the feat didnt have it.
Coruscant was also too well guarded and the Jedi would have sensed the Meditation sphere nost likely, exposing the Sith. If the launched attack failed, the Sith would be doomed.
That aside its more a case for authors giving Ancient Sith random feats out of the air than anything else, especially PIS.

1. It would be meh storytelling to just destroy every star system

I think that ability could only be done with the ship and the crystals. Mortal powers probably couldn't use them on a whim, or even with planning. The circumstances had to be just right. I think the only people that could use such powers on a whim would be god-like force entities like the Ones and such.
