he certainly has a feeling, ... in AOTC when Palpa suggest to get OB1 and Anakin to protect Padme; Yoda gives him a funny look

just how yoda reacted when palpatine assighned annie and kenobi to protect the queen.
also i think mace knows abought the controll of the senate.
watch were jar jar gives the powers to palpatine. mace it is done.
for some god reason i think either mace or yoda is lying.
