Yoda would win...and don't argue that "Mace beat Sidious and Yoda couldn't." Read the "Revenge of the Sith" novel it clearly says that Darth Sidious was only toying with Mace Windu so Anakin would show up and it would look like Mace was trying to assinate Palpy...thus breaking Anakin's boarder line for the dark side.

In fact you have a point plagues, Mace's vapaad works better against evil persons. You can't say that form IV is more powerful, but in this case it might work better.
Your cursing brings nothing to these forums. So lets get back to subject Mace vs. Yoda...If Mace was stronger than Yoda he would be head of the Council. Mace Windu in the novel "Shatterpoint" even says Master Yoda is stronger than him.
You have to have both traits. Wise and powerful. But I agree the Jedi probably decided more on the knowledge of a person to be the head of the council, than just the most powerful. But Yoda's not a weakling.
yeh totally, i mean mace is extremely hard but yoda would plain m=win, and maces vaapad would be of no advantage against yoda's ataru because vaapad is for v.offensive opponents (eg. sith or form II users )

Mace is a better swordsman but yoda is better with the force, so i'm leaning towards yoda because force is usually more important except in certain extreme situations when someone is an amazing swordsmen (like the revan vs tulak duel.)

Yoda, Mace was number two, I think Mace would put up a hell of a fight, but Yoda's knowledge of the force and ability to use it in his fights so well makes him too much for Mace to handle.
