Did you not notice those big guys with black cloaks LATER in the movies?
Aragorn waved his shining sword around and it did jack. The Ringwraiths took the damage and kept on coming, all nine of them. Even the one that took the sword to his torso, even the one that took the torch to the face, they came back and were no worse for wear. They were only destroyed when Sauron was.
Ringwraiths are practically indestructable. What is Maul going to do besides tire himself by swinging his saber around?
Well this is 2 seperate universes so this is retarded but anyways if you bring maul in the LOTR world he doesnt stand a chance but if you bring the wraiths into the SW world maul can seperate their connection to the force therefore killing them.
You can't bring the WRAITHS into the SW world without bringing SAURON.
That's like saying I'll have Revan vs. NJO Luke, but only bring Revan's head into NJO Luke's timeline.
The Ringwraiths don't exist without Sauron. With SAURON, they are indestructable. This isn't difficult to understand; Maul has NO CHANCE against the Ringwraiths. All his saber whirling will do is make him die tired.
Yes but, has anybody actually been able to bisect a ring wrath? That might do the trick. Since nobody has an engergy sword in LOTR, we don't really know how'd they'd respond to the dismemberment a lightsaber can deliver.

It doesn't matter what you do with them - they can't die since they are already dead. They are bound to the world by Saurons power so the only way to kill them is to destroy Sauron.
So Maul needs the one ring and he has to stand on top of the Amon Amarth for a chance to defeat them.
And if you ever watched RotK: One of the Ringwraith (the witchking) destroyed Gandalfs staff with a single spell...well...how much chances you give Maul without his lightsaber ?

They are scared of light and Maul uses lightsabers. Though they can't be killed he could scare them away. He just needs to send his trackerdroids looking after the ring, kill Frodo, go to mount doom and toss it there. LOL.

First he needs to send his trackerdroids to find the one ring.
Then he needs to kill Gimli, Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, Boromir and 4 Hobbits to get the ring.
Then he has to defeat the forces of Isengard an Mordor (erm...some tenthousand Uruk-Hai + serveral tenthousands of Orcs and evil humans + cave trolls, ogres and stuff like that).
Then he has to climb Mount Doom constantly watched by Sauron and under the influence of the ring (ouch...)
And he has to constantly fight the ringwraiths until he is able to destroy the ring.
Urm...too much work for Maul I think.

Hmm, I must have been mistaken while seeing them fight during the day time. ANYONE that's not blind would recoil from a bright flashing light, that includes a Jedi, a Sith, Maul and his half brother, whomever.
Nai Fohl, Maul aint useless with out his saber; you see those lightning fast side kicks in TPM??? He'd do it Bruce Lee style! And yes it would be quite an undertaking but Maul could handle it: he'd kill Soron (or whatever) and become DARK LORD OF THE RINGS!!!!!
Yo Janus, isn't it odd how gag threads like this one turn into full-blown arguments? LOL
