 Mysterious Creatures
There's a scene in Attack of the Clones where Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padme are captured on Geonosis and put in a coliseum-like arena to be brutally killed by three strange beasts. What the heck are they? Is there any mention anywhere in regards to what species they are or any other information about them at all? Anyone?

The arena beasts are the reek (the bull-like creature), the nexu (the cat-like thing) and the acklay (the green one).
The AotC visual dictionary has more information on them.

I think the Nexu looks more like a big rat than a wild cat (mostly because of the tail).
