Team Warlock Runs The Gauntlet...

Adam Warlock has recruited 6 powerhouses as he prepares to run the Gauntlet set for him by none other than Lucifer himself. The fate of the Marvel Universe hangs in the balance... If he and his team prevail, the Presence will endow Warlock and his teammates with incalculable power to help patrol the Marvel and DC Multiverse. Warlock's team has 1 month of prep before each fight. Gauntlet combatants have none.

(These guys have a month of prep before each fight, they also heal back to 100% after each fight)

2. The Titans/Outsiders: Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, Damage, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Raven, Impulse, Superboy, Wonder Girl, Troia, Jade, Metamorpho, Nightwing, Arsenal, Tempest, Robin, Indigo, Thunder, Grace Choi

3. Avengers/Thunderbolts: Classic Thor, Wonder Man, Iron Man, Atlas, Radioactive Man, Captain America, Gilgamesh, Photon(Monica), She-Hulk, Sersi, Quicksilver, Crystal, Hulk, Namor, Songbird, Moonstone, Justice Vance Astovik

4. JLA/JSA: Superman, Martian Manhunter, Captain Marvel, Powergirl, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Sentinel Alan Scott, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Firestorm, Batman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Starman, Dr. Fate, Star Spangled Kid

5. Villains: Maelstrom, Graviton, Dormammu, Cyborg Superman, Current Darkseid, Neron, Count Nefaria, Man-Beast, General Zod

If Warlock wins, the Marvel Universe is safe, and all those who die within the gauntlet will be resurrected and everyone's mind erased except for Warlock and his team.

The Keeper Vs. Maelstrom, Neron - Keeper
The Sentry, Genis Vell, Dr. Strange Vs. Dormammu - stalemate, edge to Dormammu
Thanos Vs. Graviton, Current Darkseid, Count Nefaria, Man-Beast - Thanos
Drax The Destroyer Vs. Cyborg Superman - edge to Cyborg since Drax is dumb

Cyborg gets trashed quickly by either Thanos, Keeper, Sentry, Strange, or Genis. Team Warlock overwhelms Dormammu.

Toughest challenge is against the JLA/JSA. Villians will be a 'cool-down' match once they get there.

In theory, if we go 100% powers, Wally could lend people speed, Alan and Hal could go nuts on some of the big guns, Supes and the other brawlers could help out against them, and Fate could keep Strange in check. If Fate manages to beat Strange and the Lanterns take out Thanos they have a shot....that's really about their only chance. But both of those are unlikely, and I don't see it happening.

Though why you have Thanos on a team of heroes is beyond me... And Thanos would lose, even with prep, by round 3.

Team Warlock takes this really easily though. And for no real reason, Thanos ends up taking all of the power that was bestowed upon the team for himself. Then loses it, and the universe is exactly as it was.
