I wasn't born of a whistle or milked from a thistle at twilight.
No, I was all horns and thorns, sprung out fully formed, knock-kneed and upright.
So enough of this terror, we deserve to know light and grow evermore lighter and lighter.
You would have seen me through. but I could not undo that desire.
Not a particular bad example of grammar and spelling, though. At least not on this Forum.
I still like The Clash.

People shouldnt get all mad at Green Day because of all the media coverage they've had, they're on a major label, and that's what labels do, they promote your music and you all to hell.

Aye, but theres still a lot of underappreciated bands out there who dont use the media as a gimmick, they sell their music, not their looks or brands or whatever.
Look at all the cheap trashy Greenday clothes and stuff you can buy now with the black shirts/red ties, its all marketing their brand name rather than their music. Its not about the music anymore. Target audience of 13-17 year old girls nowadays.
Yeah, but I see 4 mistakes in 3 small sentences. Maybe 5, I'm assuming by "They shouldn't try again" they meant "They shouldn't try anymore" because it would make more sense to imply all of their effort and not just a single action.

well I do see where you're coming from but once bands get thrown into the mainstream its hard not to use the coverage you get. American Idiot was a BIG media gimmick but I still love Green Day. I think they STILL make great music!
