I don't think that this has been addressed in any other thread, so I'm starting a new one on it {hope that's okay, oh great moderator}
The actors who portrayed the twins have repeatedly said that they filmed fight scenes with Trinity and Neo.
I can understand that these may have been deleted - but thinking of the logistics, WHEN would the twins have had an opportunity to fight Trin and Neo? Okay, maybe they fought Trin after the "club hell" fight scene, but when could they have fought Neo? He was stuck in the mountains in M2, and in Limbo in M3
Noola> A LOT of movies suffer under time-pressure these days. Cinemas want to show the big box-office ones as many times as possible.
The result: FotR and TT extended DVD's (and probably for RotK as well).
Maybe there will even be a Revolutions extended DVD. ALthough I agree. WHEN should Neo/Trin have met the twins?
Could you find a link for the statement of the actors so we can analyze it for further details? Maybe it's something for TMO?

I’m really sorry, but I’m yet to find a thread by you that makes any point. Do you even have one in this case?
Dave123> That's not really the question: IF the actors playing the twins talked about Neo/Trin fighting said Twins, WHEN should or could that have happened?

Well that is probably because I haven't started any threads, I simply stated that I didn't see why the Twins got so much hype.
They were simply monotone albino twins that were supposedly really powerful, but oh, look at the visual twist thrown in, they have dredlocks, a hairstyle usually associated with African American's, wow, how brilliant
That statement above was a joke, the real reason I didn't like them was because they were built up to be some incredibly powerful villians in the film, but they died incredibly easily and quickly, without any real build up.
Too me, they just seemed like typical villians, not worthy of all the talk and hype they get. They coulda been cool had we actually seen a decent amount of their supposed skill, however we didn't, and the majority of their time on screen was speant driving on a freeway.
That's the only place we know of, where Trin/Neo/Twins are in the same room. However it would seem odd, that the four of them fight, THEN the Keymaker decides to scurry off, and THEN Neo fights the rest...
However: I'd like to see WHAT the actors playing the Twins actually said.

Ask and ye shall receive, oh great moderator! The following is from an interview with Neil and Adrian Rayment in "Hotdog" - a respectable uk mag:
"And of course, they {the twins} go up againt our heroes - including Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Laurence Fishburne. "I have a scrap with Laurence," Neil admits. "Adrian has a particularly good scrap with Carrie-Anne, and then we both fight Keanu""
is all I really have to say on the matter

Fear not, however! For although I may be gone, my memory lives on through my second profile, "Ahnold", the great governor of califohrnia!
In truth, I was not as tough as "Ahnold", and not as cool as "Gus" {profile no. 3}; but dammit, I can at least be proud that I had the weirdest name of all three...
Do you happen to have a link? It's not that I don't trust what you write, this is just a little peculiar. But maybe the scene was cut out? Maybe the two actors discuss scripted scenes that were later abandoned (like from M1 were Trin was supposed to've jumped onto a train before jumping through the window).

Plus - you may be right about the scene being cut at the scripting stage. That article was pretty old.
But then why would they say something that had not been confirmed?
indeed

I agree. Although they were cool, I didn't see what was the big deal with them. So they're deleted programs and they can go all ghosty on you: whoopdy-freakin-doo. There are lots of better, more defined characters than them
I guess it kinda comes down to what you expected of them. I didnt think they'd be the all powerful villians, i expected nothing more than a short cameo for entertainment's sake, which in the end they were. It would be annoying if they were the defining bad guys of the movie and were knocked off so quickly and easily.
I think that some people are missing the point as to why the twins are so popular. It's because they're sexy, and Agent Smith, even though he's a fantastic villan, is not sexy. the twins are sexy, cool and powerful (but not powerful enough to win). It's the same thing that happend with Darth Maul - sexy and powerful , but not relevant enough to the plot to have a bigger role and not die.
