Moran Sinn - STAR WARS Chapter

First of all: STAR WARS, all of it's characters, planets, species, etc., do not belong to me and I hold no rights to them at all. LucasFilm Ltd. and LucasArts Publishing, Del Rey and Bantam do. wink
This was a small "Chapter" I wrote after I read the leaked images of the STAR WARS: EPISODE III - REVENGE OF THE SITH Novelization. It is heavily based on the last Chapter, but it features a Fan-Fiction/Personal-Fiction STAR WARS Character that I first envisioned over five years ago, when I first read the CRIMSON EMPIRE Comic Book Series.
Here it is, (please post comments, as I'd like to know what people think of my blatant theft :lolsmile. That was a joke. wink

WARNING: Heavy spoilers may lie below.

-----------------------------------------------------------

What is it like to be Moran Sinn – forever?

It is like living knowing you helped destroy an entire civilization, friends and enemies, brothers and sisters.

It is as if lava flows from your heart as you watch the mechanized Doctors and Troopers bring the battered and nearly dead Anakin Skywalker. It is as if lava flows from your heart as you realize you helped do this to him, and to countless others all across the galaxy.

You remember the laughs, the fun, the honour you felt as you walked and dined with the Jedi Masters, denied their wishes to join their prestigious Order. You remember the love you felt for them, all of them, even as you witness reports of them being murdered on the HoloNet News.

You remember the wise words of Masters Yoda, Windu, Koon, and even Kenobi.

You remember the battles which you fought in – for what? A farce, they were. Merely a means by which to eradicate those who you had cared for. You remember the joy you felt when Dooku had been killed – the War is over. That is what you thought.

You remember the pride of the Mandalorians as they streaked into battle for Palpatine, your Master, and died in a horrible battle that was worthless. You still hear their screams in your head, and also those of the many Jedi dying in the galaxy.

You suddenly see the images of children – children – being cut-down in the corridors of the Jedi Temple by the DC-15 Blaster Rifles of the Clone Trooper Army. You see Shaak Ti being sliced in half by a changed Anakin Skywalker. You see him kill children.

You remember the pride you felt when you joined the Royal Guardsmen. When you formed the Sovereign Protectorate. When you trained them to protect Palpatine.

You see images flash before your eyes as you look at your Master: lightning devised by the Force being deflected back at your Master, letting it happen, allowing his skin and bones to wither and yellow. You see, through the eyes of what your Master saw, Jedi Windu being flung from the window to the Coruscant streets far below.

Coruscant. That is no longer it’s name, no. Now it is Imperial Center. The Sith Empire has returned from the darkness. Your Master has no more need for secrecy. He is Emperor.

You see the images of Padmé Amidala, seeking her husband out in fear of his life, being killed by the very person she was out to save. You witness the mighty duel between Master and Apprentice, brother versus brother.

You see, through the eyes of Anakin Skywalker, as Obi-Wan Kenobi chops off his arm, and then his leg.

Through the eyes of Kenobi, you see people you thought of as brothers turn on you: the Clone Commander, Cody. And your Apprentice, your true brother, the one to whom you have been like a father. You see through his eyes as he watches his son fall, into the lava-sand.

You hear his voice, seeing as if from the sidelines: “You were the Chosen One! You were meant to destroy the Sith, not join them! You were my brother, Anakin. My son.
“I love you....
....but I won’t help you.”

You return to the present, though it all blurs by, and you remember barely any of it. Over many years, you join Skywalker – now Lord Vader – and hunt down the remnants of your friends, your brothers and sisters, the Jedi Knights. You tell yourself that it is all for the good, for peace, for the preservation of the galaxy....

Yet every waking moment of your life, you see the Jedi you have killed and who have been killed in front of your face. And they all say the same things: Traitor. Murderer. Sith spit. Thrall.

You still cry yourself to sleep, trying to will it all away. You still try to drown out all the images, sounds, smells, feelings with your tears, with your curses. You still say you are sorry to them all each night. You still curse the Sith and their Order, your Master, his Apprentice, the ones you teach, those that you don’t.
You can only imagine how Vader feels.

And then you see them – images. More, and at first, you try to drown them away too. But then they reveal themselves to you fully.

You see happy images: Padmé, though dying, giving birth to twins. Their names echo in your mind.

Luke.

You see deserts, two suns, a small boy, steadily growing, watching all his friends go away as he helps his uncle and aunt with their moisture farm. The planet you know. Tatooine. The child you know now: he is Luke Skywalker, son of Anakin Skywalker. You see the shadow of a man on the horizon, always watching. Obi-Wan.

Leia.

You see a planet filled with plains, and palaces, regal peoples, and a small girl, always under the shadow of a man. Organa. The Senator was never spineless, and he cries each night of his life as well. He fears for the girl he raises as his daughter. Leia Skywalker, daughter of Anakin Skywalker.

They are the only hope for the galaxy, for it’s peoples, and for the Jedi.
A new hope.

You see war break out again – the phantom deaths of the future touch you, but you do not cause them. No. It is a war very much akin to the Clone Wars. But it is not in vain.

You see all the adventures they have, Luke, and Leia, and others. A Rogue, a Wookie, two ‘Droids, a Gambler, and many others....
You see Anakin Skywalker reborn as he destroys his Master, as he redeems himself, as he brings Balance to the Force. You see yourself, rejoicing with the crowds, yet knowing it is not over.
They all experience pain, but they still find a way to be happy, to carry on.

You see the joy of Leia and her husband as they bare children. Three, beautiful children, much akin to their mother and uncle many years before.

You see Luke Skywalker form the New Jedi Order. You see the disgusting remnants of the Empire disbanded, forming under many leaders, only reaching peace near the end of another war.
An alien race invades the galaxy. It is defeated, and then becomes a part of the galaxy it sought to destroy.

You see many deaths, wars, battles, duels – but also happiness, love, lust. You see it all, and then it is gone. You see that many of it will happen to you, but not the hapy things. You see what you will do when these things happen. You vomit.

You fall into despair, believing the future unable to change, not realizing that you could stop much of it all – even help those that you have long sought to destroy.

You suddenly feel a jerk in your mind – and then you see. You see, you hear, you feel what it is like to be Darth Vader. You see what Vader sees, and it is too horrible to put into words. You see that he wishes he could destroy himself, the Emperor – you – the Empire, and everyone in the galaxy. You see how he can’t even cry himself to sleep, because his body won’t let him. You see how subconsciously, he is destroying himself, and trying to heal himself at the same time. You see what he sees: his lover, his wife – his pregnant wife – and how he is killing her. You see the struggles that he fought within himself, including his bit with the Dragon.

You know how it feels to be Darth Vader. But your pain is nothing compared to his. You cannot wait until the moment he destroys the Emperor.

You cry at night, and wish he could as well.

This is how it feels to be Moran Sinn.

A traitor....
....forever....

-----------------------------------------------------------

Please, tell me what you think of it.
Thank You very much. wink
