The Phantom eventually wins, because even if Batman destroys the first, the Ghost that Walks always returns. Batman has only been known to give away the Mantle of the Bat on a short-term basis. There's only one Batman and he can't win against the line of Phantoms. NOTE: I don't count consider Batman 2000, which a the worst storyline and marketing device every by DC, as Batman.

This is good fight between "The Ghost who Walks" against the "DarkKnight Detective". However Batman is a better fighter and knows how to defeat his opponents. Batman wins.

But if you -do- want to see Superhuman durability feats from him, scans can be found of him fighting Mongul, The General, OMAC, the god Deimos, the goddess Eris, etc etc.

But I showed him deflecting or taking bullets, because it's a lot more reasonable, and relivent to what you said about just needing to shoot him.
