As much as I love rock/pop music, it saddens me that almost no other music genre is being discussed here on KMC forums. That's a shame, because there are so many great songs out there, they deserve to be listened at.
So feel free to post links to music that, in your opinion, isn't known enough here.
I'll start with a personal favorite of mine, from the band dEUS. The quality of their music varies from "not too bad" to "great !" This one is great of course, it's called Suds and Soda and was a hit where I live. Cool clip also.

The performers are from the Finnish band Children of Bodom, and if you ask me - I just know you will ask me - they do an excellent job, because it's a very difficult piece.
Vivaldi rocks. Literally.

This is, in my opinion, a not so known clip, it's the original live version from "Diane", a song written by Grant Hart, the drummer of the American hardcore punk band Hüsker Dü.
Hüsker Dü has only two albums that don't make my ears bleed, but on these two, there's a lot to discover.
It's also interesting to see the drummer sing the lyrics. Not that it's that strange with Hüsker Dü, it was his own song after all.

There are better modern musicians covering Vivaldi, though I have the sneaking suspicious not all of what Alexi does is actually him and Roope. There seems to be a backing sound.
I think you are right, I also have the feeling some back ground music is added - or something like that. But it's still cool to see.

Time for some sadness : the unforgettable Jacques Brel.
Normally I loathe la chanson française, but Brel is amongst the greatest singer/songwriters ever. His voice, his lyrics, his personality, the way he sings it... (He wasn't French by the way).
Brel was a perfectionist. His song "Ne me quitte pas" - here with English subtitles - had over 30 different versions, before he finally decided to go with the piano and the singing saw (saw not heard in this clip).
It has beautiful lyrics too. How can a song, with such lyrics, be bad ?
Moi je t'offrirai
Des perles de pluie
Venues de pays
Où il ne pleut pas
Je creuserai la terre
Jusqu'apres ma mort
Pour couvrir ton corps

(Little secret : his guitar only has three strings).

The rest of the clip is Leadbelly performing a few other songs, and I can tell you, they are absolutely great.
The songs are :
"Pick a bale of cotton"
"The Grey Goose" (not the most known version)
"Take This Hammer"
I think Huddie - his real name - was a pretty tough, cold man. He has cold eyes. But he sure had talent. I know about 10 songs from Leadbelly, and they are all great.
Maybe it's time to buy an album from the man.

Ok I know, Neil Young and Emmylou Harris aren't exactly low profile, but I think they don't get enough recognition here.
This is just a simple but catchy tune, in which Neil Young sings about his dead dog named Old King, and this while playing the banjo.
I had a dog and his name was King
I told the dog about everything
Old King sure meant a lot to me
But that hound dog is history.
To the point lyrics. I always liked that.
So just a lovely country song, nothing more, nothing less. The song is from "Harvest Moon" (not to be confused with the seventies classic "Harvest").
Harvest Moon is better in my opinion.
Hopefully you'll enjoy it.

Never heard of them, but thanks for your contribution.

Posting those kinds of music clips is the whole idea
