should have's and would have's

* after loads of PIS and CIS battles written in comics, feel free to state who should have won in a match between two characters, and state who would have won if done in actual comics or in movies, etc…

for example:

1. Captain America versus Wolverine

SH (should have)
--- Wolverine
* Logan has better physical attributes than Steve. Their fighting skills can go either way, but while Steve is peak human, Logan is superhuman.

WH (would have) --- Captain America
* in comics/movies, Steve wins. He is Captain America, period. (honestly, I can't think of ways how Steve would win against Logan, but hey! it's comics! and this is only an example).

2. Superman versus Batman

SH
--- Superman
* Superman wins. This match-up is an overkill. Kal has super-strength, speed and reflexes and has many superpowers while Bruce is only peak human.

WH --- Batman
* in comics/movies, Bruce wins. Being a great detective, he'll find a way to defeat Superman. He also had with him a Kryptonite in case Kal goes ballistic.

* enough with my examples, you get the gist of what I'm saying… go! discuss! of course, other forumers may not always agree with your opinion, so feel free to debate...

PS: in case someone else already made a thread similar to these, the moderators can delete this and direct us to the original thread. thanks! smile

Pitt vs Merged Hulk

SH Pitt should have won that battle with relative ease due to his incredible muscle durability. In the first year of his creation, creator Dale Keown while answering questions at the end on one of the comics (forget the issue offhand) stated that Pitt's muscular, while being able to be punctured by a significant amount of force, was vitually incapable of being severed by any known substance. Pitt's skin was also capable of being shredded or removed without it truly being more than aesthetic damage. Pitt could also lock onto an opponent's aggressions which would fuel him, making him more powerful. This same ability allowed him to track his prey no matter the distance.

WH Pitt would have won, but it's obvious that Marvel would never allow for more than a stalemate, even though pitt was the superior specimen. This battle should have never been done, if they were going to do it half assed. Imagine Wolverine with the ability to grow stronger from a mid-high class 100 strength level, and that's what you get when you read Pitt. Pitt beat the hell out of a Superman level character, and he had Thor's hammer (Image Comics Thor). this is why he would have won.
