Pelosi and Reid are both gone. Those morons make the Republicans seem smart. So far it's 45-41 Democrats for the Senate. I'm hoping that the Republicans take it as well. Last time we had a president from one party and the majority of the house/senate from another? Bill Clinton in 1994 and that worked out well.
As long as that stupid ***** Meg Whitman doesn't become Governor, I don't really care either way.
If the Repubs win the house and senate then at least Obama won't be to blame anymore, since they'll just stonewall all his shit even more then they already have been.

Seriously, I have never understood: 20 percent of the vote in CA is in, the Democrat leads by 7%, and they call it for the Democrat? how does that work? I'm not much with numbers, but how do they call it at that point?
Not 100% sure how that works but Reid just won. Damn, I wanted that dumbass out but I suppose when you're running against Angle, it's hard to lose. That puts the Democrats at 48-44 with 6 votes left.
Can't help but laugh at how Meg Whitman's campaign was one of the most expensive in history for a Governor, and yet she still lost. Hoo hah!

couldn't we do like an American Idol kinda show for President? They have to go through different challenges, and we see how they handle it? Then we get to text in and vote them off one by one. THAT is the best idea i'm going to have today, I should go back to bed.
I like the idea except for the fact that everyone on American Idol sucks at being a musician, they were just blessed with a voice so they're all underqualified.. Oh wait...
Or better yet a The Apprentice type show, on a larger scale and with more of an emphasis on economics and politics. The current President evaluates everyone in the board room but the people decide who to fire.
