Lucas is far from a brilliant filmmaker. His vision is limited to only SW and Indy. Spielberg is much better.
I wont be getting this. The originals are much better.

Spielberg is massively guilty of producing crap that entirely misses the point of what ever movie it is' title, too.
His early works were edgey and untouchable masterpieces.
These days post late eighties, he has (largely) been a pussy.

Personally, I find those films to be quite overrated.

tHX1138 is over rated and American Grafitti was ok but i find if i watch it i can only do it in peices. or just watch certain specific parts.
Speilberg's older films are great but lately his scifi stuff he has done is crap. Like minority report, A.I., war of the worlds

I loved Minority Report, apart from the sappy ending, which was luckily a lot shorter than the one in AI.
But Spielberg also made Munich, Catch me If You Can and (one I like for its simplicity) The Terminal... Well, made films. His track record is by now better than Lucas'.

With minority report i just found the whole thing with the computers at the begining stupid on how he transrers the data from one computer to the other with the big bread board disc drive. and also him getting back into the police head quarters using is old eye, christ you leave a company here and they take away your fob and keys so you can't have access. but in the future they don't take away your access and remove you from the system so you cant get back in??

Only in the last stage of accessing the room with the precogs... but yeah, slight plothole. But not enough to ruin the movie if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure most everyone is okay with that change.
I would have preferred them to get the puppet right in the first place, but since they couldn't, the digital Yoda is a suitable replacement.
