It was fine on TCW tbh (aside from the odd thing). They really expanded on his overall abilities instead of just his "Saber skills" which was great.

Not sure what they're doing on Rebels though. Kind of wish they hadn't brought him in if they hadn't really figured out how to best utilise him. Feels like they're just finishing off their loose TCW threads.

Agree about Tarkin as well. He should have been a bit of a Thrawn himself.

Maul was good in TCW, yeah.

Yeah that was probably the problem. Tarkin was only in a couple of episodes before he brought Vader in for help IIRC.
