That was definitely the implication. thumb up

I'm just saying that because transferring his spirit into another vessel was part of Palpatine's powerset in RoS, there could still be a possibility that having his physical body destroyed didn't perma-kill him. His spirit could still be lingering in limbo, just waiting to inhabit another body.

Palpatine did state that he had "died before", after all... /shrug

Seems to me his body was destroyed right there.

And if that ain't enough... the entire Death Star II goes kablooey...

You see some debris --- but I still find it ridiculous there was enough of Palp's throneroom left to be recognizable in TRoS...

As for his body, I refuse to believe he's in his original body in TRoS.

I like how the relic room was also perfectly intact. thumb up

And on top of that, how the Wayfinder(which Rey easily plucked from its levitation field with one hand), was still just floating there, completely unaffected by the explosion and crash landing into a planet, lol.

Also the video is pure gold, so if anyone wants to watch it without care for spoilers...I recommend it.

I just found out that Freddie Prinze Jr. lent his voice to the final scene as well. That's cool. thumb up

I *think* it was Freddie who said: "In the heart of a Jedi lies her strength!"

He said that after Tom Green jacked off the elephant into Rip Torn's face.
