Yeah seems more likely that it’ll be an animated series, or maybe even live action, rather than a movie

Animated series i guess.
Wasn't Disney launching Obi-Wan's live action? Kylo may get his own animated series but I don't think Disney will give him a live action when Obi-Wan's live action is taking the place.

They recently confirmed that the Kenobi show will be a one and done limited series.

Speaking of the Kenobi series, a new supposed leak-
quote:
the show is going to go back and forth between the height of the Clone Wars and at some point near the start of the Dark Times following Order 66 and the formation of the Galactic Empire. For the former time period, Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) will run into the likes of Commander Cody (Temuera Morrison) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen); all three characters will have the attire that they wear in The Clone Wars animated series. For the latter, it’s not clear if Cody will be appearing, but Darth Vader will. The main narrative of the flashback sequences, if there is one, is not known, but the main narrative of the present of the series will be feature the story element of the Empire hunting for Obi-Wan. (This part is just my speculation, but perhaps we’ll get an answer to what Darth Vader’s “Obi-Wan once thought as you did.” line from Return of the Jedi was about, since Revenge of the Sith made it clear that he thought that Anakin was beyond redemption. How the Empire learns of Obi-Wan’s presence remains to be seen, but it seems likely that the show will have to go off of Tatooine in order to justify this narrative.)

Interesting.

Wonder if they'd use CG to make Anakin look younger? Because it's been 15 years since ROTS came out. Hayden obviously looks older now.

Disney revealed a bunch of new projects:
https://www.starwars.com/news/futur...ojects-revealed

Among the list is a live action Ahsoka limited series (directed by Filoni.)
Star Wars: Visions (anime-esque short stories, which could be fantastic.)
Also confirms that Hayden Christensen will star in the Kenobi series.

Pumped for this. Sounds like we’ll get some more live-action Vader.

A bunch of new series and none of them seem to be set during the sequel trilogy.

Sasuga Disney. smokin'

The best news though was the absence of Rian's trilogy.

I'm curious if we will see some clone wars flashbacks with Hayden. I would love that.

Tbh I kinda got tired of Ahsoka, when I read that on twitter I was like "Oh, ahsoka again?"

The other projects could be good though. I'm glad hayden is back, I saw most comments on the social criticized him and claimed he ruined the prequels. Don't get all this hate, but whatever

Seems fun, hoped to get a glimpse of Vos since he is rumoured to be in it, but makes sense he (or any other jedi that may appear) is not in it. My faith in Disney is low after the sequels, but I'll give all these series a chance

"The Acolyte" sounds intriguing as well:
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Acolyte

"The show will focus on the emergence of dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic Era."

There's a rumor that RDJ will play Thrawn in the upcoming Ahsoka series.

Heard it, but not sure he fits.

From the MCU cast, Benedict Cumberbatch would be ideal IMO.

100% thumb up

A mix of Sherlock and Khan would be perfect for the role.
