I have a theory about why Will Smith slapped Chris Rock.

Will was all laughing right? Then suddenly turned. The logical reason he acted like that is his wife told him to. And if she could command him like that, it proves she has something over him.

I think that something is being the heac of an organized crime ring. Will Smith is her enforcer.

It makes sense! The race riots of 1919 are well documented as organized crime wars between various families. What probably happened is they cut a deal after the war, Hollywood is their capital, and all the crime families control Hollywood.

The LGBTQ is actually a deep cover for them, they take their enemies and literally cut off their balls and parade them out in front of the world using them for various objectives, instead of dumping bodies in the river.

It's a perfect setup.
