Oh no doubt the Death Star wins. The Star Forge is a factory that makes ships which the Death Star can easily fend off. The Death Star has a superlaser which cannot be deflected and which easily destroys the Star Forge.
actually it kind of depends. If the Star Forge is ready it could produce a huge army to fight off the Death Star and it only takes two proton torpedoes to destroy it. With enough ships the Star Forge could block the Death Star's superlaser trajectory and the first one had to wait several hours before it could fire again. If the Death Star came out of no where it would win.

the star forge could just build a ship and tell it to ram through the death star at full sublight. rinse repeat. mile long bullets would shred the death star

Pretty much, the Death Star would win if it could get a good shot at the Star Forge, but like said before if the Star Forge had time to prepare it would produce so many ships that they would just block the Death star its laser and then ram it to oblivion...
And of course we can not forget the shield if the Death star came in range of the Star Forge before those things were deactivated it would just crash on the Rakatan planet... Probably destroying that and the temple of ancients making the star forge a lot weaker for a next attack, but it would still be there
lol, good point fishy. However, the ship crashing might not be too effective. First there's all the tractor beams. Secondly, even the capital ships are more than 40 times smaller than the Death Star.

So? You get a 100 ships, there is no way the death star can handle all of that at the same time... Not to mention you can throw thousands of fighters and captiol ships at it just to distract it and its crew while the rest start ramming them.
That space station could withstand 100 ships. Besides it has hundreds of turbolasers and was built to withstand capital ship attacks. In its time capital ships were about 3 times as big as KOTOR capital ships.

Yeah but they can't haul in a 100 ships at once, nor put them all in a tractor beam... The star forge ships would penetrate the Death star defences, maybe the first wave wouldn't kill it, but then a second a third and god knows how many more..
Not to mention that size with things like this doesn't matter as much as you woudl think, one little plane can still take out a cruiser, Japan took out ABDA ships like that. With enough ships ramming the Death star it would surely be damaged into oblivion

Good point. Size matters not. Judge me by my size, will you? Hmmm?
Never use that line with a chick.
Alright, back to business. The Star Forge's abilities lie in creation. It draws on the Force itself and makes ships, armaments, etc. But what it doesn't make is personnel. Unless you can modify it to make droid piloted ships, or it can launch those suckers out at sublight speeds, there would have to be ample personnel to conduct a suicide run.
But on the other hand, the Death Star was slower than hell when it came down to it. The Rebels had time for a conference, clothes change, scramble all their fighters, make it past waves of TIE and the turrets, and make the kill. Ships spit out by the Star Forge weren't mere snub fighters, and the bigger ones could engage the turrets and fighters long before the Death Star could come into Orbit. Keep in mind that if the Death Star was coming from a certain angle, it would be just like the Yavin fiasco. Thirty minutes until firing... What the? There's half a million ships out there...
Even without a crew the star forge would still be able to use empty ships to block the Death star from firing... I mean it would be stupid if the thing pooped out all the ships at the exact same location...
So at the very least it would make the death star useless while some programmer starts reprogramming droids to crashland ships, which can probably be done pretty easily...
Then its just a matter of time until the Death star meets its end
Well I went to starwars.com, looked at the size of the Leviathan, then the size of the first death star (which is smaller than the second) and it was about 43 times bigger. Of course, I forgot to say it was about 43 times bigger in diameter. whoops.
