I’m a Star Wars fan waiting on the midnight show
I got 24 hours to go
Well, they give me some popcorn for my last meal
I got 23 hours to go
and you know I really don’t care how I feel
with 22 hours to go
so, I sent Bush an email, to make this a holiday
with 21 hours to go
and I call my boss’ voicemail for a sickday
I got 20 more hours to go
My boss calls back and says, “that’s just fine,
We only have 19 hours to go!”
So, I give him a laugh and say, “See you in line”
With 18 hours to go
well i call out to Lucas to hear my plea
17 hours to go
I say, “Get me an advanced copy of the extended DVD!”
I’ve got 16 hours to go
well, Georgie says he's sorry that he missed my call
at 15 hours to go
Then he says, “You’ll have to wait ‘til the Fall,
You’ve only got 14 hours to go.”
well now, I can’t wait to see Palpatine
With 13 hours to go
And how he tempts that boy from Tatooine
At 12 more hours to go
Ani’s finally going to get to sleep with Padme
With 11 more hours to go
And he’ll turn his back on Mr. Kenobi
With 10 hours to go
I need to get off the internet, but I can’t break loose
I got 9 more hours to go
I might miss a spoiler, if I even go for juice
There’s only 8 more hours to go
Now my minds on Yoda and the way he talks
With 7 more hours to go
But with his flying and jumping, what’s with the hobbled walk?
Only 6 more hours to go
My eyes are blood-shot and mouse hand tired
I got 5 more hours to go
But thinking of Grievous is making me wired
With only 4 more hours to go
All my bills are late, lucky they haven’t cut the power
with 3 more hours to go
Damn I guess I need to get up and jump in the shower
i only got 2 more hours to go
I’m standing in a crowd of fanboys waiting for the show
with 1 more hour to go
and now I'm seated and here I gooooooooo....
