I really enjoyed it. This is really a great film. It's a bit too cheesy in some scenes, but globally really excellent.
The story is simple, happy-go-lucky, but really moving...
Also great soundtrack. This movie is really worth seeing.
Hollywood is just not able to make a movie like that...

I saw it when it came out on video and I loved it. The music, editing and special effects combined superbly and worked with the flow and the theme. Very whimsical and raw.

Yeh its pretty cool.
I usually dont go for French movies cos the language bugs me (sorry G.P.) but this one was easy to watch, great story and acting.
Really enjoyable movie.

It is an OK movie, a little overrated I think. I better Like the movies he did with Caro. The City of Lost Children and Delicatessen are great movies.

-> Kes : Don't worry, I've understood that for a long time smile
-> Dario : I agree. The city of lost children and Delicatessen are indeed great films, but they're absolutely different from Amelie... I really admire J.P Jeunet's work (with or without M.Caro).

I like the vibrant colours used in this film. The story was very amusing and unique, in particular the cinematography/editing they used. It's won several awards at various festivals. You should watch this film on DVD if you haven't already.
