The first news about Mortal Kombat 6 -Deception:
Sent to a website by a source close to the project, a hi-res image of an angry Baraka already shows an advanced level of detail when compared to 2002's fighting hit Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. And while there's definitely been debate among fans throughout the online community as to whether or not the capture is that of a render or a screenshot, the fact remains that the image appears to be legitimate.

ummm... so you really believe baraka looked realistic in MK2? I mean comparing baraka's image from MK2 to the picture above is comparing finger painting to artistic mastery.

any of the above pictures is better in terms of being more realistic, than that low quality cg of baraka (low quality by todays standards)
I know what you mean. He looks great graphically but looks too computer animated. The MK2 Baraka looks more realistic in the sense of a blurry picture of a real living thing.

So far, I have yet to not enjoy an MK game. So I'll probably be getting this one. It looks like they're going back to their roots and using all of the classic characters, instead of their "invent a bunch of new crappy ones" formula. I couldn't be happier.

in the trailer you can see sub zero, scorppian, baraka, shao kahns mask, and it looks like theres a red ninja not like subzero or scorpian but he looks like a majii
ok here is a gurented line up, we have a revamped sub zero((looks like a badass shredder)) Baraka,Noob Sibat,Ermac,Sindel,Mileena,Blind Kenshin,Scorpion, and that fat guy from DA. there are more but i couldnt see names. and ALL of these guys are updated and look rad((Ermac is the shit))
April 2004 of PSM((playstation magazine)) they had a huge preview of it, there is also a raiden esq new chick, and a guy who looks like the wind god from mortal combat 4. and yes Baraka is the shit. but this new sub-zero is easily the best sub-zero ever he looks waaaaaaaaaaaay more badass than even scorpion i will try to find some pics or i will scan them later
