You came into my life, and
I've felt nothing greater,
Than just gazing at your eyes.
Each day I can't take my mind of you,
That you had changed my life, and
That I've found a purpose in life.
What is more for me to achieve,
Other than just feel the love that I'm experiencing?
It is you, that I love, for eternity...
My life became misarable,
When I departed,
Just to know that what depression is really like.
You alone is my light,
My angel, my rose and my life.
Nothing can please me more,
Than just thinking of you,
Every night...

i cant be what you want
so i will call it quits today
no more trying to hold on

i am a disappointment

Have you ever watched a candle flicker?
Its flame dancing in the night.
Standing on the border between darkness
One sole beacon of light.
Do you think it would be good to be that candle?
The simplicity of existance it would bring,
No ears to hear, no eyes to see,
No hands to touch, no mouth to sing.
But those are not bad things, are they?
A candle has but one purpose, one aim.
The mind would be free, to love and think,
While dancing in that flame.

I liked it, especially the structure. The ... at the end of each stanza really highlights the never-ending theme.
I do, however, shy away from writing personal poetry. Not personal as such, but personal experiences, because not every has experienced the same as me, and so find it hard to relate to the theme of the poem.
