Darth Maul (Dark Horse Series) vs 7 Marvel/DC mercs
I know Darth Maul was originally a movie character, but most of his real feats were seen in comics and other tie-ins. One in particular was the Dark Horse "Star Wars: Darth Maul" series.
Now in this series DM was a total badass and he spent 4 issues taking down a criminal organization, which involved killing lots and lots of guys including gun-toting aliens, droids, a telepath, and even another Dark Force wielder.
In the last issue DM faces off against the crime lords' various personal bodyguards - "seven of the deadliest beings in the galaxy" whom he slaughtered "in less time than it takes to say it". They included a robot, a pig-guard alien (ROTJ), two feral slashing clawed aliens (they actually did some damage), and some other fighters.
In this scenario the crime lords have hired seven Marvel/DC mercs instead:
Can Darth Maul still get through to the crime lords fighting
1) All at once (like in the comic)?
2) Gauntlet style?
Assume no knowledge of each other other than that they know they are all deadly fighters and all out to kill (as in the comic situation).
Standard equipment for all (DM can still make use of his opponents guns etc, like he did in the comic where he force-grabbed a gun and shot a couple of guys).
all at once = team eats him alive, even with the force and the duel edge saber.
gauntlet..... imo wolverine would be a difficult opponent, not sure if he can be killed by force chokes or impalement via lightsaber. if wolverine was impaled, he might be able to remain conscious enough to kill maul.

yeah i was thinking the same thing, im assuming they would cancel each other out...i see him having no problem clearing this gauntlet...but all at once he gets mauled
This has no bearing on this matchup but some context has been left out in the Vader battle.
Vader agreed with Maul and the dark side scientists who resurrected him not to use his dark side force powers in the battle.
The conspirators and Maul knew Vader would destroy them if he brought his powers to bear, so they agreed to a melee-only fight. Besides Vader kills him fair and square in the end.

Wouldn't matter for this fight because none of the opponents have the force, lol. So I didn't think it relevant to mention it.
No. Vader pulls his lightsaber to himself with the force, dives at Maul and stabs himself through the stomach to impale them both in the process, killing Maul and damaging his own life support.
And he wouldn't have gotten the chance to do so if Maul hadn't gloated and talked over him while he had Vader at his mercy. Kinda the ultimate definition of jobbing/PIS.
Nice scans but thats not really impressive....basiclly any character in this thread could have done that.
About the topic, I think Wolverine alone could have a draw with Maul. Wolverine could easily recover from any force attack maul sends at him (Keep in mind, I don't think Maul ever used a force choke before). Wolverine also has superhuman agility/reflexes, which I think are equal to Mauls reflexes. Wolvies also a master martial artist.

He has. In the arc the OP specifies, where he solos the Black Sun crime organization.
Not on par with Maul's, who moves fast enough that most Jedi can't even see anything but a blur. Plus he's mastered all seven lightsaber forms, plus mastering a H2H style designed to kill Jedi (Teras Kasi or something like that.)
Maul definitely loses to the entire Team, but beats Logan 1 v 1 pretty consistently.
Yeah I already said that, the first sentence in my previous post. But I'm a Vader fan & had to lay down the context.
That wasn't PIS. Vader is never defenseless, he's been in life threatening scenarios again and again, he's at his most dangerous when he's seemingly beaten.
See: Purge, Awarru Turk etc. He's unpredictable in those scenarios benefiting from the over anxiety of his opponents.
Just like in Purge the Maul fight shows that Vader numbers deception as one of his weapons in combat.

Well, if you think about it at first, it would seem like Maul has much better speed/agility. However, a little research makes you think twice. Wolverine has dodged hundreds of bullets at once comming from automatic weapons from multiple shooter many times before. He once speed blitzed this guy from a distance and cut his pistol in half in a split second. He has dodged bullets at point blank range while stuck between two cars (He moved his head before the bullet could hit him).
I'd say there about equal.
