Humans are afraid of the dark.
And yet… At the same time, we’re fascinated and bewitched by it.
Maybe that’s why humans drink the darkness that is coffee.
That's because Pre-Crisis Supes was as strong or as weak as the writer wanted him to be. Operating at what I consider to be his normal level he'd tie with Superman One Million, IMO.

That is correct. I pretty much saw Precrisis Supes in 1M.
