Defining The Undefinable

looking at his bio, apocalypse has fairly differing powers to how hes usually written in comics. looking at his bio he should be able to have every mutant power that currently, or ever will exist. he can alter himself on an atomic level, and change his size, so he should be able to become any mutant he wants, use whatever power they have, and retian whatever physiological trates that give them their powers when he returns to his normal form. even his bio says hes able to give himself any power he wants.

on top of this his strength is as limitless as the hulk, hes over class 100 and capable of increasing it as much as he wants. if he can alter himself on an atomic level how can any injury be fatal? in aoa when magneto tore him apart why couldnt he reform. he can turn himself into all kind of inhuman looking things, so why would that kill him. if he can survive in space then he obviously doesnt need oxygen, so losing his and lungs wouldnt kill him. not at least before he could shapeshift himself into having them again.

however ive never seen a comic that really makes use of much of his supposed power. so what im asking, is according to his actual appearences in 616, what can he do, and what abilities does he have that were given to him by using celestial technology? in rise of apocalypse it was shown that he could survive without food for extended periods, he was stong, and could grow. he also survived some pretty big injuries but i dont know if that was becuase of a healing factor, or durability or something else. so in practical terms, what is he capable of, and what does he have that he owes to technology rather than his mutation?

yeah thats what i assumed, but what would have actually killed him. severe trauma causing his nervous system to shut down? lack of oxygen and blood to the brain? i dont know that they would kill him, not before he can reform. hes too resiliant. thats the impression i got from his bio at least.
