Redneck for both, there's quite a lot of them around here and they usually stock up pretty well on guns and survival gear in case shit gets real.
You won't find too many actual real cowboys anymore, they're a dying breed and for the most part are either into farming/ranching or the rodeo circuit.
My late uncle was the last real cowboy I ever met, he was a horse-whisperer and could break a wild one in a single session. Lived in a really nice log cabin he built himself, he basically could make or fix anything.
