Biggest blunders & missed opportunities in Comic History?

In any form, in the comics or outside the comics (film,tv,videogame.)

What are some huge blunders and misssed opportunities that could have been grreat but fell flat.

Comes to mind:

1. The non releasing of marvel cartoons from the 1990's
2. Spiderman and the x-men arcade's revenge video game
3. Superman returns

The end of though, like you said was probably the worst, because it didn't tell us what really happened.
There was a worldwide brainwashing by an drunken angry Scottish man, so that it made all the characters in the story, save maybe Herc and Namor, and made them all act like completely out of character and/or complete idiots, and ****ed up the Marvel U worse than Thanos could on one of his universe conquering sprees.

Letting Geoff Johns off of JSA, will also be a blunder for the future. Just like letting him leave Teen Titans was previously.

JSA kinda takes care of itself, though, even before Johns' run. I think the writers have too much fear and/or respect for a lot of the golden oldies to put their own personal spin on things (i.e. f*ck it up)

But yeah, any other book that loses Johns is screwed.

Agreed. Maybe they'll bring on Loeb and we can see their old power levels for a change.

Seems to me like those Sinestro Corps lanterns kick ass. If Krib can take like 6 green lanterns, how the ****'d they lose?

I tought WWH was great.

The explanation of why Hulk secceeded is that anyone besides the X-Men try to stop Hulk and not kill him.

- One More Day (They shouldn't do it, at all.)
