The Ten GREATEST rap albums on the Planet, as voted by YOU

With all the crap thats been spewed out in recent years, I believe it's time we take the initiative and help people find that not all rap sounds like 50 Cent and Enimem. To do this, I ask you, the common KMC forum-goer, to vote for your all time favourite albums. Very simple process. Just list the ten, and I'll take it from there. If you cannot think of ten (shame on you) then just ptu your top five.

Rule 1:

Vote once

Rule 2:

Don't bash other's picks, let them be.

Rule 3:

Talk about your picks with others if you want, just don't clog the thread with meaningless posts (ex. OMG!! I love them too!!)

Well, I don't have a top ten in the rap category. But I always felt that Run-D.M.C. (album) is one of the most influential records in Rap. Aside from that I can't think anything that is influential.

This is about your opinion, not others. List YOUR ten greatest rap albums. If you like Run DMC then put it down. If you like Nelly (God forbid) then put down some of his. It's all up to you. Whatever you liek, put it down.

Your favourites. What ones you'd recommend to others who hate rap to show that listening to rap doesn't have to be like getting a root canal.

If they're not smart enough to think that maybe MTV isn't telling them the whole story, do they deserve to be shown?

Anyway, I'll do my top ten HIP HOP albums, not in order (but will arrange if order is necessary.):

Liquid Swords by GZA.
I, Phantom by Mr. Lif.
The Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox.
Blackout! by Method Man & Redman.
Operation Doomsday by MF Doom.
The Slim Shady LP by Eminem (And you know it's amazing, regardless of what he became.).
Wu-Tang Forever by Wu-Tang Clan.
The Fix by Scarface.
Stress: The Extinction Agenda by Organized Konfusion.
Reflection Eternal by Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek.

Chino XL 'Here To Save You All' is one of my favorite albums. His voice was kinda hard to listen to at first, but after a while i got used to it.

'Water' is probably Chino's best song from the 'I Told You So' album.
