Origin:

Okay now I'm going to make this short and sweet, most people know Daken's obvious background so I'm going to focus more on what you likely never knew.

He is the son of Wolverine and Itsu and was born in Japan. Wolverine never knew of Daken's birth and Itsu was killed by Winter Soldier as ordered by Romulus. Wolverine thinks both Itsu and the baby to be dead when in fact the baby had survived due to his healing factor and was left on the ground. So baby Daken was later found by a couple, Akihira and Natsumi. Both were trying hard for a child with no luck until one faithful day they found the baby that would later become known as Daken. He was found by Akihira and the couple raised him as their own. They called him Akihiro but he later picked up the name Daken from a bully who was picking on him calling him a mongrel. Daken got his revenge though murdering him late at night. His mother grows scared of Daken and his pheromones which she feels controlling her and Akihira. Daken learns of this and in an act of vengeance he kidnaps and abandons her new born baby in the wild like the Spartans did to unworthy babies. He is cast out and his mother charges at him with a bayonet but Daken's claws develop and reveal themselves for the first time and he stabs his mother. His father stricken with grief kills himself with the same bayonet. Then Romulus reveals himself before Daken, takes him in and so Daken's story begins.

Take note that my scanner can only scan one page at a time so any double page spreads are in single form so..... some scans will not make the most sense without looking at the other half, just something to bare in mind when looking at the scans. This is my first respect thread and I hope you enjoy the rest of it.

4. Pheromones
Daken's pheromones first manifest.

Here he uses his "scent" to make some guy confess to something he didn't do. As well he causes a shield operative to become attracted to him and later sleeps with her.

Women can't seem to control themselves in his presence.

His pheromones can cause people to love him and trust him so much that he can get them to throw themselves in front of a truck.

Moonstone and him had a thing but it is speculated that his pheromones had a part in her attraction to him.

There are plenty more instances of him seducing women using pheromones but I felt it wasn't really necessary to post all of them.

A good example of pheromones at use in combat can be seen in his fight with Spiderman featured in the Fight! section of this respect thread.

5. Strength & Claw Capabilities

Take note that this is shown to Daken by the Fates of Asgard, Daken is behind Norman contemplating doing this and he is shown what happens if he does do it, he chooses not to do it in the end but this is what would happen if he decided to do it.

Now that scan was very speculative I'll be the first to admit that. It could be his claw gets chipped but..... the chipped pieces seem to be shining very much like Emma's diamond form so..... it does look like he chips her diamond form.

Well as you'll see later Daken loses his Muramasa claws, he goes to his good friends the Fantastic Four and Reed hooks him up with a stun claw capable of stunning anyone it touches..... well except the Thing but as Reed puts it Ben's an exception to a lot of things.

Speculative I know but it seems that way, at least to me.

Yes, very good job indeed thumb up

Wolverine feat in the speed section is not about the speed actually... it's his vanishing act that he does using pheromone manipulation. Sorry for the nitpicking, but I couldn't stop myself stick out tongue

I might add a few feats later if you don't mind.

Yeah I know about the pheromone manipulation vanishing act but in his fight with Deadpool he compares it to superspeed and he does seem to get the better of Wolverine before Wolverine can even get a straight sentence out, but yeah I forgot to mention that and also forgot to highlight the right part of his fight with Deadpool, where Deadpool says it. My bad. Really Daken doesn't have any great speed feats so it was more just to fill that section.

I was thinking should I put up the fight from Exodus where he takes on Armor, X-23 and Pixie at the same time. Most of it happens off panel is the problem.

As impressive as Daken is, the entire bit with the Demon-Possessed Wolverine "killing" Daken was all just a ploy. So he didn't actually get incinerated into ashes and regenerate from them.

Daken fights Laura, Hisako and Pixie till Osborn gives the order to retreat. Last scan is from Dark X-Men: The Confession one-shot... it doesn't make much sense, but since not much was shown of their fight, it's always something.
