sorry not all the villains are pictured but i think both these teams have met their match. they both have a day to defeat the other team and each get the amount of resources they normally would (i.e. the villains get all of luthors, etc)
well the society gets all the resources including all the reserve members, im just too lazy to list them all
soooooo many
its like bizarro, cheetah, mr freeze, gorrilla grodd, parasite, dr polaris, weather wizard so many
lol if its the whole society which consist of hundreds of super villain then the defenders dont have a shoot in hell considering they will be facing enemys like amazo
definately not overkill
the defences that strange and ss can set up for the rest of the team makes them virtually invincable to any form of attack. however its likely that they would get overwhelmed due to other factors such as exhaustion.
Why do they want to have an army of Major DC villian against just a few Marvel Heroes. All the people who where in the Secret Society at one time or another would kill the Justice League. So not a fair match, better would be just 5 say Solomon Grundy vs Hulk, Wizard (wasn't he in SS?) vs Dr. Strange, Star Saphire vs. Silver Surfer, Black Adam vs Namor, and Cheetah vs Valkrie sounds like a fairer fight.
PS wasn't Dr. Psycho a man who fought wonder Woman? He created Giganta the Approximately 10 Foot Tall woman from a gorilla. Dr. Light was a man who took on a whole group of Justice League members by himself. Luthor threat to Superman but usually because of Kryptonite. Wasn't the Calculator a guy defeated by the The Atom. If just the ones pictured the Defenders might win against all of Secret Society they shouldn't, but then neither should the justice League.
Organized by Alexander Luthor, Jr. in the guise of Lex Luthor, the Society formed over rumors of the JLA mindwiping Dr. Light. With a ruling council of six members overseeing a structured roster of 200 strong (Villains United #1), the Society is a grave threat to superheroes of the world.
After the events of the Infinite Crisis, this version of the Society appears to have disbanded.
