I think it would be a good idea to have vs forum duels similar to the sig forum duels. Two posters could challenge one another to a duel and choose whomever they please to be the judge. You could keep track of your record, and it would be an excellent way for new posters to grab some cred. Not like a tourney, just something to do for fun.
If two posters agree to do it, there's technically nothing stopping them from doing that now. It wouldn't get pinned, and with the forum as large as it is I doubt you would be able to form too many coherent matches....other people would constantly chime in. The sig duels work because it's a much more relaxed atmosphere. You don't really see too many hotly debated topics, spam, bashing, etc. like we get in the vs. forum on a daily basis.
