Not as good as Liquid or Big Boss mind you, cause in the game they both own him CQC wise but still pretty good

depending on how good you are, you can out-CQC "the boss" during the final fight of Snake Eater. it takes serious skill with it though.
that was naked snake though. I don't think Solid was as good.
