When i was addicted to drugs. I always had something to do. I always had a purpose and felt satisfied when i was getting high. Now, i just sit around, work and waste away from life and stress. Is it worth being sober?

Well, I don't really have personal experience with being addicted on something.
But I had a friend, that I went to kindergarten with, through highschool. His name was Cody, we were best friends, we dated, but we just ended up being great friends in the end. He got into drugs, completely changed. He was only fun when he was sober, I couldn't stand him high, he was so boring.
I think it might be worth being sober, because you're being yourself without any substances obviously, and you don't need to rely on anything to become happy.
But as for you..... if you have extra money to spare, and you really think you need to go back to the drugs to go out and do things, whatevs, its your own opinion, and life!
people are different. My drug phase was in my early twenties for a year or so, and I quit, no problem at all. Some people get hooked easier.

People are more addicted to different things, as well. For example, I've successfully given up an expensive cocaine habit, but I've never been able to give up soda.

I recently quit smoking, but MAN was it tough. I have known some people who can quit cold turkey.

thats how I started, I was like 20 and was drinking. someone offered me a smoke, I took it, and was like "whoa..."

I know, right? and they wanna ban smoking in bars/pubs/taverns. dude, drinking and smoking are like french fries and ketchup.

Yeah, it's already banned here and to be honest I think it's made me smoke more. The reason being is that my friends all go outside for one and I don't want to be on my lonesome in a club or bar, so I go with them, then I end up smoking.

in offices, government buildings, stores and shit, yeah, I agree, ban smoking. It is a nasty habit and I dont wanna be around it.
But in pubs, come on. If you dont wanna smell smoke, GTFO of the pub.
