RETROSPECTION- Rianna vs. Foghren
THE SET-UP: Angsty Padawan Rianna is looking to unleash some of her frustration on another Padawan through duelling, and she has found one willing to play the victim! Foghren has volunteered, seeking a challenge for himself. They fight in the Jedi Temple courtyards, with other students cheering them on! Or at least cheering Foghren on. Rianna makes many of them uncomfortable.
HOW THIS WORKS: This is Rianna's first fight, so I will go over things for her.
The duellists take turns to attack each other. The attacker and the defender each describes their attack or defense respectively. The winner of the round is decided by four things- the Lightsaber skill of the fighters, the style they are fighting with, how their moves play off of each other, and a small random factor known as the competency bonus. As I control Friste, I will determine how he goes about his actions.
The winner of a round scores a single point, followed by the attacker and defender switching places. Only one move or countermove can be made per round (excluding taunting, do that as much as you please). If the round is a draw, the attacker wins.
The victor of the duel is the first person to make it to five points, but it must be a win by two clear points over your opponent. The amount of points you win by dictates the fate of the loser- a two point loss is a superficial wound, a three point loss is a lost limb, a four point loss is multiple lost limbs or a crippling injury, and a five point loss is an outright kill. If you lose the duel by survive, you can always escape without being re-engaged.
At the start of any round, either combatant may try to flee. In fleeing, the duel carries on as normal, but whomever makes it to two points first, winning by one clear point, determines the success of the endeavour. If the person running away wins, they escape. If not, they don't.
ANALYSIS: An even match, though perhaps Rianna has a ferocity on her side that Foghren lacks. If anything is going to decide the victory, it will be down to style. Foghren is well-rounded and very balanced while Rianna is not much of a hard hitter, so she will have to play it smart.
Foghren has offered Rianna the first move.

Foghren angles his lightsaber and shunts your attack to one side. He is not impressively strong, though certainly stronger than you. But his action was solid and leaves him open to strike back.

Having shunted your lightsaber aside, Foghren confidently strides towards you with his lightsaber and unleashes a powerful blow that sweeps from left-to-right, toward your neck.

Expending little energy with his next movement, Foghren spins to evenly meet your blow, then interposes his lightsaber between the two of you to prevent you from following up with another spinning slash.
"So I've noticed," Foghren says.

Foghren to attack, Rianna to defend.
Instead of powering into you as before, Foghren instead angles his lightsaber parallel to the ground and makes a fierce jab for your midriff.

Impressive acrobatics get the best of Foghren. He pivots on his feet so that your attack would land on his back, not his shoulder, and performs a spinning back block before coiling down into a crouch. But the agility of your attack has left him unbalanced. You land on your feet, ready for anything.

Uncoiling, Foghren springs into a mid-air spinning attack, bringing his blade down and across your front.
