Planned as a trilogy. I told you they'd go back to this well way back when. I can't wait to come back to this fantasy world.

The book has nothing to do with the Potter series... so I'm really curious to see how this will be presented... IIRC, there are no characters, it's just a list of magical beasts with a little blurb about them. Which is fascinating, but I'm so curious!

You didn't read the article or didn't understand it. Let me help you: It takes place 70 years before the events of the HP films, so Voldermort isn't in this.
