hmmm..... i thought this was a good match-up, and with a theme.
well here's what i think:
i think they both have a chance of taking this victory. if orin can control his synthetic andoid mind,then he definitely takes this most of the time.
he still has a chance of winning with that hand though anyway,seeing that jim isn't too hot.
on the other hand, torch has the advantage of flight. and could probably take a few from orin.i'm sure he can hurt him with his heat, seeing what he has done to ironman's armor and namor in the past.
i'd say:
orin FTW, if he can control his mind.
original human torch FTW otherwise.

Orin for heavy majority.
He can try to shut him down with telepathy.
If this doesn't work he can manipulate water in the area to distract or extinguish HT's flames and then KO him.
If HT is flying Orin can just jump and bring him down (he has jumped more than 500 ft before)
As for heat Orin has fought the earth fire elemental (something like a fire Swamp Thing) without to much problem and easily took down Fire from JLA before.
Plus he is extremely resistant to heat and energy (taking point black blasts from Starro, Amazo, etc. and not even being KOed.)

i don't think orin's heat resistance is even an issue here. jim has killed iron man with his heat, and hurts namor.both are more resistant then orin....at least namor for sure.
orin could dose him with his water, if jim was like his lowest temperature.i agree though, if he estinguishes hammond, he's gonna KO him.
i've seen some of orin's jumping feats.impressive. but jumping onto jim hammond could be dangerous for him(melting stark armor, singing namor)
here namor takes on a mind-controlled jim.namor has more striking power and resistance than his DC counter-part.he shruggs off namor striking him with a stone pillar and sends him flying with a "fiery fist"(he loses though):

i think orin wins majority if he can telepathetically attack him, but he is just an android.i say jim FTW otherwise.
