Japanese Kanji(please help)
i'm not really sure where else to put this so...
it's surprisingly hard to find a list of kanji with their meaning and pronunciation
i was trying to figure out what my name would be,
http://www.samuraibaby.com/kanji_names.php <-- this site doesn't really help because my name is kinda peculiar and isn't listed in any name dictionary that i know
http://www.yournameinjapanese.com/transadv.php <-- this kinda helps but when i put names of my friends and compare it to the previous site i get something completely different
so i was just wondering, if anyone knows a site that has a(complete) list of kanji and their meaning and pronunciation, could you please post the link??

You're not really going to find any such thing, I don't think. Especially with the pronunciation, as that changes depending on where or how a kanji is used.
Best bet is to look at an actual Japanese dictionary.

All you're doing is using the syllables from your name and using corresponding Kanji with those syllables (of which there could be more than 10 for each); none of them are going to be your "genuine Japanese name", because you don't have one.

Like Strangelove said.. If you dont have a japanese name you can only get a phonetic transcription of your name.. for which japanese prefer to use katakana over kanji...
There are kanji used phonetically too, but they simply use kana for foreign names, why would they bother making up complicated kanji for some foreign name..
Or you could simply use kanji with a similar meaning as your name“s, but thats not the way japanese names work, either..
