Gohma [Wind Waker] vs Master Chief
This thread takes Gohma, the first boss from LoZ, Wind Waker, and pits her against Master Chief from halo. There will be no convenient ceiling to bring down, either.
Chief is trapped in the boss room from LoZ, and has to fight Gohma to escape. There's no ceiling ot bring down, as Valoo's on vacation or something, and took his seat with him. As he's against the first boss in the game, Chief will not have all of his weapons available. He has an assault rifle, with one clip's worth of ammo, and his mjolnir armour to rely on.
Gohma's hanging out in her lava bath, and can reach Chief at all times.

It took a giant ceiling to kill Gohma and how do you know it's a she?
The only way I see Chief hurting that thing is shooting bullets into its eye and with some of Chief's strength he might be able to yank Gohma's eye out of the socket which will cause blood to spray all over the place and because of the amount of blood loss, Gohma dies.

Negative, until you destroy Gohma's armour, she simply closes her eye to prevent damage. She's much stronger than Chief, and trying to "rip her eye out" is just a good way to get himself torn apart. |: He has to play smarter than that.
A lava bath wouldn't hurt chief? How about after she tears holes in his armour because he was dumb enough to try to climb onto her face? :P

How about her near effortlessly forcing that massive stone slab back into place on the ceiling, and then smashing it afterward when her armour's cracked?
She doesn't have to work very hard to defend herself against him. He's on the offensive, she's encased in armour, and swimming in lava. If he attempts to climb onto her face, she can just bathe him in it. She's clearly a lot stronger thna he is, or an elite.. And those can damage his suit. Once he's attempted close combat, then his speed is null and void, how's he going to escape her?
doubt that'll work. especially considering the slab didnt even break. dude fell from the atmosphere and was completely unscathed.
also. she lifted it with her back and it was wide meaning the weight and her strength were evenly balanced. no reason to assume she can concentrate that same strength into only one claw.
the armor shrank after she was dazed by rocks falling on her. a couple 20,000 pounds punches concentrated in one spot will tear right through it. hell one punch to the eye will send the kinetic energy through the eyelid and damage the eye anyway.
lava wont even make him sweat inside his armor. its designed to take shots from weapons that generate heat on the scale of a sun.
i didnt see her do a single thing that would rival the kinetic impact of a thousand pound object hitting the ground from the atmosphere.
how is his speed going to be void? he still moves faster then she can swing her claws and move. he'll be literally running around her in circles. whats to stop him from just running around to her back at 60 MPH, faster then she can turn around, and just jumping on her back and wailing away at her?

It still shows a lot more strength than he possesses.
Given the size of that stone slab... No, I highly doubt that. Also, the majority of the weight rests on the crest of her head, and spines on her back, it's not nearly as evenly distributed as you said. Also, the armour's like a shell, punch a gut in full plate, the force is distrubuted around the plate you strike. Strikign the eyelid would be an exercise in futility, AND place him close ot her mouth, as well as within reach of her many claws.
1. I'd like to see a source of this claim, I keep seeingg it, what's it based on?
2. Instant exposure=/= prolonged full body exposure. Her pinning him in the lava, the heat would get to him after awhile, that I garuntee. Fact is, eventually, it will get hot.
I do, because this is an over-hyped feat. He was not moving at nearly meteoric speed, or even close to. He hit at terminal velocity, tops. /and/ it locked up his suit. She's clearly strong enough to damage his suit. She's stronger than things that already have. [Elites.]
1. her many arms
2. physics.
3. She can pivot a lot easier than he can run in a wide circle.
For point two, I'm meaning that at 60 mph, it'd be impressive indeed for him to completely change his momentum and jump on her, and even then;
1. He's not going to do damage with his punches, the ceiling had to fall on her three times to destroy her armour.
2. She can just throw him off, snatch him off of her, roll onto her back, drop into the lava, ect.. Once Chief's in the lava, he's pretty screwed. His suit will gradually be heatign up, and you cannot swim in lava. he'd have to climb out, but the viscous liquid would be hinderign his movement,s whiel Gohhma can move thorugh it with little effort thanks in large part to her massive strength and body.
Jumping onto her back is not a win. There's no way Chief's physicly overcoming Gohma. His best chance lies in his speed, and his brains. Jumping on her is suicide.
Chief simply pries her eye open and tears through it.
He's physically stronger than her, since you are going on game play that an elite can hurt his armor. (Nowhere in the books does it say his suit is damaged by an elite.)
Since we are going on gameplay, then he can flip an elephant (Humongous freighter vehicles.) That would make him leagues stronger than her.

No, no it would not. o: Also, there's no gameplay mechanics involved in her lifting a massive stone slab. Infact, it's a cutscene during which you cannot do anything.
