Episode 29 - Legacy of Terror

*Inserts Iraq metaphor here*

Why is Luminara alway an incompetant Jedi? She misjudges Ventress, gets lost...isn't she a council member?

The ambiance of the episode looks AMAZING though. Can't wait.

Luminara isn't a Council member, nope. Just a prominent Jedi.

Was it just me or was Obi Wan acting like a real pervert here? (the whole "in the nose or mouth" thing...)

and that queen should have been called jabba the sl*t.

the worst of the three, imo. was looking forward to seeing obi-wan getting more involved, and he came across as a bit of a dick, tbh... poor luminara...

Yeah, their total lack of plot is catching up with them...

I liked it. It was really damn unnerving. The darkened tone appealed to me.

Legacy of Terror
Episode 29
Season 2 Episode 7

Reaction Negative

This was by far and away the worst episode of the season. I don’t have much review time, so I’ll just leave it at that.

The Good
At least Luminara and Kenobi mention casualties and increasing frequency of battles. Is there actually a war going on?

“After enough time in a bacta tank, one longs for the mundane comfort of star charts...” Nice.

Its nice to see a dust storm on Geonosis.

This episode gets major points for creep factor. I didn’t think it was possible to do better than last episode, but they succeeded. From the statues in the temple, to the darkness, it created a really good mood throughout the entire episode. Of course all this is just enhanced by the fact that entire episode takes place in the dark. Pretty blasters.

Kenobi continues to live up to his reputation as the negotiator, but his insistence on studying the worms was…weird.

The Bad
Nothing made it here. It all went to ugly.

The Ugly
As mentioned before…why wasn’t Poggle Taken the FIRST time we took Geonosis.

Zombies. I just don’t approve. Ever. Even worse is the whole “hive mind” thing. It just totally stikes me as out of bounds. Regardless, I think it was poorly developed. Besides…if such is the case…why is Poggle not controlled?

The queen speaks basic? Why? Its one thing to learn another language. Its quate a different one to switch from clicks and whistles to spoken words. And she screamed…a lot.

The capture of Poggle was really lame. Really lame.

What Next:
I really don’t like the idea of spending a whole nother episode on these annoying worms…
