After watching the trailer for "The 4th Kind" which claims to be based on true cases. I was wondering if there is any truth in the story, were there people abducted etc.
Searched the web and there isnīt much hard info available, some sites have appeared lately covering the idea but this could be just an ad campaign to awake interest in the movie.
Maybe Sarah Palin is one of these aliens, she certainly talks like one
They're actively avoiding naming any specific studies or people. I would be good money that this is "based on a true story" about as much as Fargo was.

Yes sounds about right, the case (if there was one) probably was very slim and not even hyped at all, whereas the film blows it out of proportion.

Apparently no one can find any record of anything close to this ever happening in Alaska. I guess "based on a true story" has about as much integrity as "certified organic" or "dolphin safe" or "made in USA".
