Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, And The Bible On World War 3

Every year, tens of thousands of people from all over the world become interested in the life work of one ordinary man. He was an average individual in most respects: a loving husband, a father of two children, a skilled photographer, a devoted Sunday School teacher, and an eager gardener. Yet, throughout his life, he also displayed one of the most remarkable psychic talents of all time. His name was Edgar Cayce.

For forty-three years of his adult life, Edgar Cayce demonstrated the uncanny ability to put himself into some kind of self-induced sleep state by lying down on a couch, closing his eyes, and folding his hands over his stomach. This state of relaxation and meditation enabled him to place his mind in contact with all time and space.

Though Cayce died more than half a century ago, the timeliness of the material in the readings is evidenced by approximately one dozen biographies and more than 300 titles that discuss various aspects of this man's life and work. These books contain a corpus of information so valuable that even Edgar Cayce himself might have hesitated to predict their impact on the latter part of the twentieth century.

Sixty years ago who could have known that terms such as "meditation," "akashic records," "spiritual growth," "auras," "soul mates," and "holism" would become household words to hundreds of thousands? Further details about his life and work are explored in such classic works as There Is a River (1942) by Thomas Sugrue, The Sleeping Prophet (1967) by Jess Stearn, Many Mansions (1950) by Gina Cerminara, and Edgar Cayce-An American Prophet (2000) by Sidney Kirkpatrick.

Daily for over forty years of his adult life, Cayce would lie down on a couch with his hands folded over his stomach and allow himself to enter a self-induced sleep state. Then, provided with the name and location of an individual anywhere in the world he would speak in a normal voice and give answers to any questions about that person that he was asked. These answers, which came to be called "readings" were written down by a stenographer, who kept one copy on file and sent another to the person who had requested the information.

Today on file at the Association for Research and Enlightenment, Inc. (A.R.E.), in Virginia Beach, Virginia, are copies of more than 14,000 of Edgar Cayce's readings. These are available to the public and have been filed along with any follow-up reports received from the individuals who had asked for the readings. This material represents the most massive collection of psychic information ever obtained from a single source. The organization founded by Cayce in 1931 to document, research and disseminate his information has grown from a few hundred supporters at the time of Cayce's death in 1945 to one which is worldwide. Countless individuals have been touched by the life work of this man who was raised a simple farm boy and yet became one of the most versatile and credible psychics the world has ever known. In addition to the Cayce readings, the organization makes available a large collection of Edgar Cayce books, New Age books, Self-Help books and Metaphysical Books.

EDGAR CAYCE'S PREDICTION:

"There will be a potential Third World War In Libya, and in Egypt, in Ankara, and in Syria; through the straits around those areas above Australia, in the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf."

Cayce - in the 1930s - indicated the 'sins' of the key nations:

America - has forgotten "in God we trust"
England - conceit
France - lust
China - isolationism
India - internalization of knowledge
Italy - dissensions

He said "Russia will become beacons of hope for the world."

Through Russia, Cayce said "comes the hope of the world. Not in respect to what is sometimes termed Communism or Bolshevism -- no! But freedom -- freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man. The principle has been born there. It will take years for it to be crystallized; yet out of Russia comes again the hope of the world."

Cayce also predicted the possibility of a THIRD World War. He spoke of strifes arising..."in Libya, and in Egypt, in Ankara, and in Syria; through the straits around those areas above the Persian Gulf."

Later on, when asked in June 1943 whether it would be feasible to work towards an equitable international world currency or a stabilization of international exchange levels when the war (WW II) had ended, Cayce replied that it would be a long, long time before this would happen. Indeed, he said, "there may be another war (WW III) over just such conditions."

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus, (December 14, 1503 - July 1, 1566) born Michel de Nostredame, is one of the world's most famous authors of prophecies. He is most famous for his book Les Propheties, which consists of rhymed quatrains (4 line poems) grouped into sets of 100, called Centuries.

Nostradamus enthusiasts have credited him with predicting an amazing number of events in world history, including the French Revolution, the atom bomb, and the rise of Adolf Hitler.

What may be most astounding are some of his predictions for our current century as he describes wars and events which are astoundingly similar to what is currently happening in the world as I am writing this.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"The Anti-Christ three very soon Annihilates,

Twenty-seven bloody years his war will last.

Heretics dead, captive, exiled.

Water red hail cover the Earth."

NOTE:

In this one he is obviously describing the Anti-Christ and his attempt to take over our World. But one must remember that when it comes to war, military action is not the only aspect of it. Often times it is the final one but not the first.

So...given that, if we take what Nostradamus said about the Anti-Christ's war lasting for 27 years, we could look at it with the angle of realizing that it is quite possible that 24 of those years have already gone by. And that the Anti-Christ is about to make his final move, which is Military Action against the World. I could see this as a very good possibility, because the last 7 years will be the worst, and this correlates with what the Bible talks about with the 7 year tribulation period.

So....if we go back 24 years, than we can definately see that China was acting up in the 1980's.. The tanks and the protestors will probably ring a bell for some.

So therefore I believe that we have a few years left to the Anti-Christ's war. And I believe that this will be time time when he steps out of the Shadows, and into the public arena, and that he will make his presence known to the World.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"One who the infernal Gods of Hannibal

Will cause to be born, terror to all mankind,

Never more horror nor the newspapers

tell of worse in the past,

Then will come to the Italians through Babylon."

NOTE:

This one seems to be about the Anti-Christ as well, and of the travel routes of Italian forces.

Babylon was a city-state of ancient Mesopotamia (which was sometimes considered an Empire), the remains of which can be found in present-day Al Hillah, Babil Province, Iraq, about 85 kilometers (55 mi) south of Baghdad.

It appears that Nostradamus is claiming here that Soldiers from Italy will travel through Iraq to get to their destination. Wherever that may be.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"The year, seventh month,

From the sky will come a great King of Terror:

To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,

Before and after Mars to reign by good luck."

NOTE:

In this prediction it appears that Nostradamus is describing some kind of supernatural type of event that will allow someone with great influence over the "mongols" (Mongolians?) to gain great power from it's aftermath.

China does have alot of leverage over Mongolia. And the current Chinese President does as well.

I have long since wondered if the current Chinese President could one day turn out to be the Anti-Christ. Only time will tell. And if not the current one, it could very well be the one right after him.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"A horrible war which is being prepared in the west,

The following year the pestilence will come,

So very horrible that young nor old,

nor animal (may survive).

Blood fire Mercury Mars Jupiter in France."

NOTE:

This prediction seems to be about World War 3 and a war being prepared in the west. It is important to note that China is considered to be in the North-Western hemisphere of the World.

He also seems to claim that during this time there will be "blood" and "fire" in France.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"The Oriental will come out of his Seat,

Crossing the Apennie Mountains seeing France:

Transported through the sky the waters and snows,

And shall strike everyone with his rod."

NOTE:

Obviously he is talking about China rising up against the World in this one. He appears to be claiming that China will cross some mountains and it appears that whoever is in charge of the Chinese army will meet with France, possibly to declare/wage war. The hint we are given that this won't be a very friendly meeting is because he specifically states that this leader and his forces (who will travel by air, land, and sea) will "Strike everyone with his rod". Clearly that is a statement that refers to some kind of attack or another.

He plainly states that the route this Oriental leader will take will be across the Apennie Mountains. The Apennines or Apennine Mountains is a mountain range stretching 1000 km from the north to the south of Italy along its east coast, traversing the entire peninsula, and forming the backbone of the country.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"From the Black Sea and Central Asia,

A King will come to see France,

He will pass through Alania and Albania,

And in Istanbul will leave his bloody Rod."

NOTE:

Here he appears to be talking about China's leader again. He mentions that the Leader will come to France, and also that he will pass through the territories of Alania and Albania, and then that he will "leave his bloody rod" in Istanbul. Istanbul probably means Turkey, so this looks like a prediction of an attack on Turkey as well.

He also mentions that the king/leader will come from the Black Sea/Central Asia before he goes to France. So he gives us a clue as to where this leader (and his army I would assume) will be coming from before the attack on Turkey.

(please log in to view the image)

Even before the attack on Turkey, Nostradamus mentions that this "king" and his army will pass through Alania and Albania.

Alania was a medieval kingdom of the Alans (proto-Ossetians) that flourished in the Northern Caucasus, roughly in the location of latter-day Circassia and modern North Ossetia-Alania, from the 8th or 9th century until its destruction by the Mongol invasion in 1238-39. Its capital was Maghas, and it controlled a vital trade route through the Darial Pass.

Here is a map Map showing the location of Alania, c. 650 CE:

(please log in to view the image)

Albania is a country in South Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Greece to the south-east, Montenegro to the north, Kosovo to the northeast, and the Republic of Macedonia to the east. It has a coast on the Adriatic Sea to the west, and on the Ionian Sea to the southwest. It is less than 72 km (45 miles) from Italy, across the Strait of Otranto which links the Adriatic Sea to the Ionian Sea.

(please log in to view the image)

And finally he claims that in Istanbul (Turkey) this "King"/leader will "leave his bloody rod". Possibly he means that there will be an extreme attack on the city of Istanbul, Turkey, and that the leader will stop there for at least awhile if not for good. Perhaps this is where he will station his troops for awhile?

Istanbul, historically Byzantium and later Constantinople, is the largest city of Turkey and the third largest city in Europe, after London and Moscow. The city covers 27 districts of the Istanbul province. It is located on the Bosphorus Strait and encompasses the natural harbor known as the Golden Horn, in the northwest of the country. It extends both on the European (Thrace) and on the Asian (Anatolia) side of the Bosphorus, and is thereby the only metropolis in the world which is situated on two continents. In its long history, Istanbul served as the capital city of the Roman Empire (330–395), the East Roman (Byzantine) Empire (395–1204 and 1261–1453), the Latin Empire (1204–1261), and the Ottoman Empire (1453–1922).

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"From Fez the Kingdom stretches out across Europe,

The city burns, and sword slices:

The great one of Asia Land and Sea a great army.

That blue, Persia, cross, driven to death."

NOTE:

In this prediction he appears to be describing the size of the Chinese army. He also mentions the "great one of Asia", which most likely represents the leader of China who he seems to claim will rise up against the World. Also it looks like he mentions that they (the Red Chinese Army) will use both the Sea and Land for their warfare.

He also mentions the Kingdom of Fez. The Kingdom of Fez was a state of North Africa. It bordered the Mediterranean Sea to its north, Spain (Melilla) to the northeast, Abdalwadid to the east, Saadi dynasty by Oum Er-Rbia River to the south, Atlantic ocean to the west, and Portugal (Ceuta) to the northwest.

Jeane Dixon claims that the various African nations will join forces with the Arabs and Chinese in World War 3 against Europe. Perhaps this is a reference to those forces.

(please log in to view the image)

The Kingdom of Fez was formed when Abu Abd Allah al-Sheikh Muhammad ibn Yahya conquered the city of Fes, Morocco from King Shorfa in 1472. So the other possibility could be that he is directly referring to the city of Fes, Morocco. He does go on to claim that the "city burns, and sword slices." Therefore he could literally be describing an attack on the city of Fes, Morocco itself.

Fes or Fez (Arabic: فاس‎ [Fās], French: Fès) is the fourth largest city in Morocco, after Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech with a population of 946,815 (2004 census). It is the capital of the Fès-Boulemane Region.

Fes is one of the four so-called "imperial cities" (the others are Marrakech, Meknes and Rabat). It is separated into three parts, Fes el Bali (the old, walled city), Fes-Jdid (new Fes, home of the Mellah), and the Ville Nouvelle (the French-created, newest section of Fes).

(please log in to view the image)

(please log in to view the image)

And lastly he gives us a clue that seems to point to the Arab forces directly when he states, "That blue, Persia,", thereby almost completely confirming the exact three aggressors that Jeane Dixon mentioned so many hundreds of years later.

He also gives us a clue as to what areas will be attacked by the Arabs/Iranians when he writes "cross, driven to death". Clearly this is a reference to an attack on Christianity (Those who worship the cross). So perhaps Nostradamus is hinting here that it will be Christian nations who will be targeted by the Persians (Arabs/Iranians) when he wrote that portion of the quatrain.

The Persian Empire was a series of successive Iranian or Iraniate empires that ruled over the Iranian plateau, the original Persian homeland, and beyond in Western Asia, South Asia, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Most of the successive states in Greater Iran prior to March 1935 are collectively called the Persian Empire by Western historians.

Therefore it is also entirely possible that Nostradamus here is referring directly to the Country of Iran/and or the Iranian forces that are said to join with the Chinese and African nations in the war against Europe (World War 3).

(please log in to view the image)

The Chinese, The various African nations, and the various Arab nations. All 3 Jeane Dixon said will be involved in World War 3. And in this quatrain Nostradamus's work seems to back up that statement by making reference to all 3 of them.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"That which is enclosed in iron and letter in a fish,

Out will go one who will then make war,

He will have his fleet well rowed by sea,

Appearing near Latin land."

NOTE:

This could be again describing the "Oriental" leader's navy. Or possibly the Arab fleet that is supposed to join him. It could also be African soldiers who I am guessing will be riding along on some of the boats provided by countries like China/Iran, ect.

The description of the iron and letter in a "fish" sounds like something brought on board a ship. The "fish" could well be a reference to a modern day submarine.

This particular person who "goes out to make war" Nostradamus claims will have his "fleet well rowed by sea". So obviously this person will be in command of a type of navy.

And lastly, Nostradamus gives us a specific geographical location that we can expect this fleet to come ashore on/make war upon. He states that it will be "near Latin land". So that gives us a pretty good idea of what we can come to expect from this seemingly purely naval attack during World War 3.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"The troubles of Israel will come to Po;

Tagus, Tiber, Lake of Geneva and

Tuscany."

NOTE:

This appears to be a prediction describing the troubles that Israel is both facing now and will be facing during World War 3. He clearly states that the "troubles of Israel" will spill over into other parts of the World. Therefore being a key factor of World War 3.

The name "Israel" first appears in the Bible as the name given by God to the patriarch Jacob ( Genesis 32:28 ), which can be translated as "God contended". The name already occurs in Eblaite and Ugaritic texts as a common name. Commentators differ on the original literal meaning. The first definition of the promised land (Genesis 15:13-21) calls it "this land". In Genesis 15, this land is promised to Abraham's "descendants", through his son Isaac, while in Deuteronomy 1:8, it is promised explicitly to the Israelites, Abrahams descendants through Jacob. A more detailed definition is given in Numbers 34:1-15 for the land explicitly allocated to nine and half of the Israelite tribes after the exodus. In this passage, the land is called "Land of Canaan". The expression "Land of Israel" is first used in a later book, Samuel 13:19. It is used often in the book of Ezekiel and also by Matthew. More precise geographical borders are given in Exodus 23:31 which describes borders as marked by the Red Sea, the "Sea of the Philistines" i.e the Mediterranean, and the "River," i.e. the Euphrates the traditional furthest extent of the Kingdom of David.

The modern state of Israel has its roots in the Land of Israel (Eretz Yisrael), a concept central to Judaism since ancient times, and the heartland of the ancient Kingdom of Judah to which modern Jews are usually attributed. After World War I, the League of Nations approved the British Mandate of Palestine with the intent of creating a "national home for the Jewish people.

The Land of Israel is the region which, according to the Hebrew Bible, was promised by God to the descendants of Abraham through his son Isaac and to the Israelites, descendants of Jacob, Abraham's grandson. It constitutes the Promised Land and forms part of the Abrahamic, Jacob and Israel covenants. Mainstream Jewish tradition regards the promise as applying to all Jews, including descendants of converts.

Here is a map showing one interpretation of the borders of the Promised Land, based on God's promise to Abraham (Genesis 15):

(please log in to view the image)

Here is another map showing one interpretation of the borders of the Promised Land, based on God's promise to Moses (Numbers 34) and to Ezekiel (Ezekiel 47):

(please log in to view the image)

The Kingdom of Judah was the nation formed from the territories of the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin, and was named after Judah, son of Jacob (Israel). Its capital was Jerusalem. The kingdom maintained a separate existence for three hundred and eighty-nine years. It occupied an area of about 8,900 km2 (3,436 sq mi).

(please log in to view the image)

In Nostradamus's day, modern day Israel did not exist, but the ancient "Land of Israel" (the Kingdom of Judah) had, and so this must be what he was referring to when he used the term Israel. Of course, it's possible that he used his ability to gain a sense of what Israel would be like today, so he very well could have been referring to the exact location of our modern day Israel as well. Either way, he mentions Israel as a major factor.

Modern day Israel, officially the State of Israel, is a country in Western Asia located on the eastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea. It borders Lebanon in the north, Syria in the northeast, Jordan in the east, and Egypt on the southwest, and contains geographically diverse features within its relatively small area. The West Bank and Gaza Strip are also adjacent. With a population of about 7.28 million, the majority of whom are Jews, Israel is the world's only Jewish state. It is also home to other ethnic groups, including most numerously Arab citizens of Israel, as well as many religious groups including Muslims, Christians, Druze, Samaritans and others.

Here is a map of the location of modern day Israel:

(please log in to view the image)

The other places listed above are in Spain and Italy. Apparently, Nostradamus is warning here that the troubles of Israel will spread to both Spain and Italy, causing war to erupt in those nations.

You know, it's funny you mention the Genghis Kahn thing. I'm not going to pretend that I know 100% what Nostradamus meant by that....but I do believe in reincarnation. And so therefore I have to at least consider the possibility that the "return of the Life of the King of Mongols" could mean the return of the Soul of Genghis Kahn himself into a Human Body. Of course if this were the case and we are talking about World War 3 before 2012 then the process of his soul being reincarnated would have most likely already taken place a long time ago.

I have to at least consider it. Given my belief structure. However my main reason for this thread is to examine the geography of the prophecies themselves rather than putting most of my focus onto the people who could be involved.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"From Monaco as far as Sicily,

All the sea coast will be left desolate:

There shall be no suburbs, cities, nor towns,

which will not be pillaged and violated by Barbarians."

NOTE:

Here the prediction is obvious. According to Nostradamus, some of the battles of World War 3 will take place along the sea coast of Italy and in parts of Europe. Monaco is a city-state in Western Europe located along the French Riviera between the Mediterranean Sea and France. Sicily is an autonomous region of Italy and the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea.

Map of Monaco:

Throughout much of its history, Sicily has been considered a crucial strategic location due in large part to its importance for Mediterranean trade routes.

He also says that there will barely be any towns, cities, or suburbs along this coast that will not be "pillaged and violated by Barbarians." With that statement I personally believe he is making reference to the Chinese/Mongolian army as well as the Arabs that are predicted to invade that part of the World during World War 3.

Some of those predictions were actually made for last century...and obviously never came to pass. I really don't know why people give Nostradamus' prediction any heed because he made predictions for after the time when he predicted the end of the world. Cleary idiotic. Not to mention that the vast majority of his predictions were vague and wishy washy nonsense.

quote:
"The year, seventh month,

From the sky will come a great King of Terror:

To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,

Before and after Mars to reign by good luck."

take that for example...you've blatently missed out the year...which was actually for 1999.
I only read some of it but you only need to to see the veracity of it.

China: Isolationism...China is more open to the world now than it ever has been in its thousands of years of history.

NOSTRADAMUS'S PREDICTIONS FOR THIS CENTURY (2000 - 2100)

Nostradamus:

"Frejus, Antibes, the towns around nice,

will be greatly devastated from sea and land.

Locusts with favourable wind by land and sea,

Captured, dead, trussed up, plundered, without law of war."

NOTE:

In this one it appears that he is talking about the same Chinese/Muslim/African army from before, and it seems that he is showing us another set of areas that they will be attacking. Frejus, Antibes, and the towns around nice. All of those cities are in France. So indeed it does appear that France is going to be attacked during World War 3.

Fréjus is a coastal town on the Côte d'Azur and commune in the Var department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France. It neighbours Saint-Raphaël, Var, effectively forming one town. The north of the commune forms part of the Estérel Massif. Its population in 2004 was 50,536.

Antibes is a resort town in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France, on the Mediterranean Sea in the Côte d'Azur, located between Cannes and Nice.

Antibes is a leisure-industry town affectionately called Antibes-Juan-les-Pins.

Nice is a city in southern France located on the Mediterranean coast, between Marseille, France, and Genoa, Italy, with 1,197,751 inhabitants in the 2007 estimate. The city is a major tourist centre and a leading resort on the French Riviera (Côte d'Azur). It is the historical capital city of the County of Nice.

It is interesting that most all of those cities are located on the Coastline of Southern France. It would make sense that these areas would be attacked by Sea, first, and then invaded.

We don't need to ask ourselves what the outcome of the attacks will be, because Nostradamus lays it out for us when he states that they, "Will be greatly devastated from Sea and Land".

So bam...there it is. He appears to be describing a massive attack on these cities because he makes a point to say that they will be "greatly" devastated. Not just from the Sea (A Naval attack), but by Land (An invasion).

Then he gives us a hint that seems to point to the fact that these forces who will attack Southern France will not have much weather problems at all to block their way. He states that, "Locusts with favourable wind by land and sea". The "locusts" I would presume to be the attacking forces (The Chinese navy + the Arab fleets as well), and the "favorable wind by land and sea" I would take to mean good/favorable weather conditions.

And lastly he goes on in more detail to explain what will happen to the above 3 cities of France when he states that they will be, "Captured, dead, trussed up, plundered, without law of war". I take this to mean the obvious first, which is that these cities will be "Captured", and thereby showing us the outcome of the battle, which is that these 3 cities will lose their fight and be taken by the attacking forces. Then he says that they will be "Dead" thereby showing us the total devastation that will occur, "Trussed Up" (tightly secured by the attacking forces), and "Plundered "(Looted). So he gives us a very detailed description of the attacks on the cities as well as the aftermath of those attacks.

And finally he states that this will all be done "Without law of war" which I take to mean either an attack that will be by total surprise, or an attack that will be so brutal that it falls outside of the normal boundries/guidelines for war.

Prove to me that all of those things in that post happened during World War 2 Jaden, and I will at least consider that it was for World War 2. I don't believe you can do that for me, so....until then..I am sticking with World War 3.

You are right about one thing though, because I do interpret things in my own way. As does everyone else.
